"Friends, it's incredible, the crowd in Paris. Despite the huge authoritarian offensive to discourage mobilisation, it took us 20 minutes just to get out of the metro. I can't tell you the number for the whole march, but it's already a failure for the government."

A French protester holds up a mirror to the police so they can see themselves for what they are: Violent bodyguards for capitalism and imperialism.
French police just charged at protesters in Paris and started violently striking people entirely unprovoked according to an eyewitness on the ground:
“I’m here, the protesters didn't do anything. The police charged without any reason when we were just singing.”
The state is always violent, whether we are peaceful or not. It solely exists to serve capital, fund wars, and ensure the people obey the very system that’s rigged against us.

Everyone needs to know what actually happened in Serbia.
Instead of students just protest against their government, the students organized themselves into a student list and ran in elections against their government—and they have just won.
Dear Serbia, congratulations on your victory; you have just opened a new door in protesting. This is history

The French are decades ahead of Americans when it comes to politics:
“It started with the student revolt, but it concerns the entire society. We are fighting against the government, against war, and against capitalism. The entire society needs to change.”

Cllr Dyer & the Green council have explained their policy switch thus👇: If developers can't afford to include affordable homes then we'll still give them permission & the Govt can provide the subsidy instead.
