👏👏👏
Having carefully considered the application and the views of council’s representatives, as well as the developer, I approved the proposed Shoreditch Works scheme in Hackney at yesterday’s public hearing.

It seems plans are afoot. I assume this is the same Soft and Swirly that has been selling ice creams at various pop-ups around Hackney. Though not sure why an ice cream shop would want such a large premises with an alcohol licence.
Mad Atelier shop on Lower Clapton Road has closed down.

PRP has revealed plans to add a 40-storey residential tower to a high-rise cluster in Shoreditch. The proposals for 241 City Road would replace a petrol station with around 400 build-to-rent homes in two buildings including the tower and a 10-storey block. share.google/HD5nWtAjf0plf5m…

..here's hoping this Clarence Rd development will act as a catalyst to the redevelopment of the adjacent Lower Clapton Rd and the replacement of low rise residential with mid-rise, mixed-use to restore the high street.

An application has been submitted for a new @LidlGB store to replace the Jet petrol station on Lower Clapton Road. This is great news which will bring more footfall to the high-street, but the proposal is underdevelopment and should have multiple floors of housing above.
