Bo took an insane amount of heat for the UT post and lost a NET six figures of donor commitments (meaning he lost more money than he raised during the fiasco). Turns out all the people on X posting how based Bo is didn’t contribute much to his actual campaign. And I know everyone on X thinks poasting wins elections, but it does in fact require money and a political machine backing to get elected to statewide office in the Judeo-Hindu state of Texas. Jon Rosenthal (Bo’s very Jewish opponent), has since raised an insane amount of money for his campaign. Despite all this and ongoing hit pieces targeting him every day, Bo never apologized and never backed down from what he said. He sincerely believes what he posts. Greg Abbott was the only member of the Texas GOP who didn’t explicitly disavow Bo. Abbott is a cuck on just about everything, but Abbott controls the GOTV Texas machine and has a huge campaign war chest that he is currently deploying this cycle. He has legit helped Bo in a big way, which counts for something. Bo is in a tough political position where he has to balance his message with voters while not compromising his path to get elected to statewide office. And disavowing the guy who is giving you a real path to political power is clinically retarded. I don’t know anything about the blocking Nick is referring to, but that’s kind of a retarded thing to get super pissy about. Texas Railroad Commissioner is a 6-year term. Get Bo in and let him cook.
