Friends, I want to thank you for your support in this race. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you who stepped up to fight for a stronger Michigan. Now, it’s time to come together to make sure we beat Mike Rogers and keep Michigan blue. Let's go win!
Jocelyn Benson will run through anything to get results for Michigan. My future Governor!!
Friendly reminder polls do not vote! Voters do! Elections happen and are determined by the people who vote in them.
Make your voice heard.
Ooh baby! Michigan Dems are on the move. We are about to flip the state house and make Ranjeev Puri THE FIRST! Indian American State House Speaker in the country! 🇺🇸 This is happening from a place called Michigan. How do we get there?? By electing Sarah Pounds to State Rep from Michigan district 54 — Bloomfield Hills, Auburn Hills and Orion Township! She is a mom of four girls, loves her community and wants to grow Michigan! Sarah and I hung out on the campaign trail today, went to an event for Ranjeev Puri in Northville with many leaders of the Indian American community. 🇮🇳🇺🇸 Sarah loves the Indian American community as much as I do, and everyone should vote for her by November 3rd!
Today marks another year since the horrific terrorist attacks of October 7, 2023, a day of unimaginable loss that forever changed the lives of so many families in Israel and around the world.
A month and a half ago, I traveled to Israel, and had the profound opportunity to sit down with survivors and hear their stories firsthand. I listened as they shared what they endured, the loved ones they lost, and how they have found the strength to say they want peace.
Their stories have stayed with me.
I made this documentary because these voices deserve to be heard and remembered. At a moment when the pain of October 7 can too easily become reduced to headlines, arguments, and statistics, I wanted people to hear directly from those who lived through it, to see their humanity, their grief, and their resilience.
On this anniversary, I am remembering the lives that were taken, standing with the survivors and families who continue to carry this trauma, and recommitting myself to the work of combating terrorism, antisemitism and pursuing a future where Israelis and Palestinians can live with safety, dignity, and lasting peace.
I hope you’ll take a few minutes to watch and hear their stories.
Okay, Harv is the man. Thank you for having me.🥰

My fiancé is a pretty special person. He’s made a difference in so many people’s lives, including mine …and the ring isn’t too bad either! 💍💕
We do not have to choose whose humanity matters. My recent trip to Israel reinforced something I have always believed: Israelis and Palestinians deserve peace, security, dignity and a home.
Michigan’s hardworking union families deserve more than empty promises. They deserve results.
Democrats are fired up for November. We need to stay focused on jobs, lowering costs, protecting our manufacturing, and delivering for working families.
Earlier today, I was leaving a Science Committee hearing, standing up for science to address climate change, when I was once again followed, shouted at, and harassed by two rogue paid actors attempting to intimidate.
Let me be clear: I have always wanted the wars in the Middle East to end. I believe in a two-state solution that gives Israelis and Palestinians peace, security, dignity, and a home. People are free to disagree with me, challenge me, and protest my positions. That is democracy.
But disagreement is not license for intimidation or harassment.
I’m not on the ballot anymore. So, what exactly are we accomplishing by continuing to tear each other apart? There is too much at stake to spend our energy villainizing people on our own side or like me who are not coming back to Congress.
We should be putting our energy into protecting Social Security, defending voting rights, lowering costs, standing up for science, and defending the people who sent us here.
Disagreement is democracy. Intimidation isn’t.
Let’s get back to work.
These words have no place in American politics.
Every person who steps forward to serve: Democrat, Republican, or otherwise deserves to be safe.
The people trying to divide us are loud. But they are not stronger than us. We will answer their hatred the way Americans always have, with courage, decency, and an unshakable faith in one another.

Spox for El-Sayed rival Mike Rogers says he "unequivocally condemns those comments ― and all political violence."

On September 11, 2001, America endured the unimaginable. We answered with courage, service, and sacrifice. America was not built on fear. It was built by people who showed up, and it still is.

I’m fighting to make sure Michigan businesses get the money they’re owed. No more red tape tying up tariff refunds for Michigan small businesses.
