Not going to harp much on last night’s game — wasn’t there so didn’t watch
3 quick thoughts:
- Guys will need to step up as ball handlers; the PG play was bad
- Hoping to chalk up TO’s and 3pt misses as rust & lack of continuity
- Everyone played, can see a 9/10 guy rotation
Good morning;
Seton Hall plays a basketball game for the first time in 225 days today
We are so back
I give it three years before we see March Madness go from 76 teams to 96 teams. Only a matter of time
Breaking: The College Football Playoff is nearing a deal to expand to 24 teams, sources tell @PeteThamel.
The new format will start in 2027 and is expected to come together in the near future, pending final approvals.
Seeing all these exhibitions has me dying to overreact to a zero stakes Seton Hall basketball game lol. Anyone else?
Only 10 more days till our guys are back!

Don’t think I believe Hurley, but did appreciate the Slick Rick slander
Dan Hurley says Shaheen Holloway is "probably one of the few friends that I have in coaching.”
That made UConn's recruitment of Na'jai Hines out of the portal a little more tricky than usual. But "it's part of today's game."

Seton Hall is slotted at 9th in the Big East Preseason Poll
I’m expecting the league to be much better this season, teams were active in the offseason
Trusting Coach Sha’s squad to exceed expectations again, especially after last season going from last to 4th. Let’s go to work!

Congratulations to @isaiahwhitehead on retirement. Definitely a consensus fan favorite from the program of the last 10 years
Dying for another Big East Tournament run like 2016 😮💨

NEWS: SC Next 100 point guard Javion Tyndale has committed to Seton Hall, giving the Pirates their highest-ranked recruit since 2014.
“[Shaheen Holloway and I] have a lot in common: the same position and being an undersized point guard. He has a streetfighter mentality,” Tyndale told @PaulBiancardi.
Breaking: Javion Tyndale, the No. 48 ranked player in the SC Next 100 for the Class of 2027, has committed to Seton Hall, he tells ESPN’s @PaulBiancardi.
4 ⭐️ PG Javion Tyndale has committed to Seton Hall 🏴☠️
The 5’8 Montverde PG is currently ranked 66th in the country for the class of 2027 (@247recruiting)
Sha loves a short, quick point guard… He’s landed another in Tyndale. Excited with this signing. Welcome, Javion!
🏴☠️ Couple morning updates courtesy of @AdamZagoria
- Pending eligibility rulings, Elijah Fisher will return to Seton Hall for his 5th year
- Fisher in pushes Nathan Mariano out, as the Pirates now have 15 players
- Sha says he’s bringing back alum Donald Copeland as assistant
Pretty satisfied with how the Big East schedule turned out for the Pirates
A lot of games and little rest opportunities from January 23rd through all of February, but a majority of the games will be at home
Fun Saturday home games vs UConn & Providence & Friday night vs GTown
The entire Big East schedule releases around noon today
Eager to see some dates and tip times as we inch closer to the start of the season
The entire Big East schedule should be dropping soon, but it appears we have dates for Seton Hall v. St John’s
📍 Wednesday, December 23rd at the Prudential Center
🗽 Saturday, January 23rd at Madison Square Garden
Feels like that 12/23 matchup may be the Hall’s BE home opener
