🚨 BUILDING BROWNSTOWN ARENA - OUR CROWDFUNDER IS NOW LIVE! 🚨 Our vision is to create a new floodlit 3G facility at Brownstown Park that will benefit our children and young people for decades to come. While we have received substantial funding to make this project possible, there is a significant funding gap that we must bridge to now deliver the project. Over the years, Hanover FC has supported countless local groups & clubs, charities and community initiatives. We've always tried to give back where we can, and today we're asking for your help to make this project a reality. Please donate if you can. Please share this post with your friends and family. Please consider adding Gift Aid to your donation. Gift Aid costs you absolutely nothing extra but can increase the value of your donation significantly, helping us raise even more towards the project. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to making Brownstown Arena a reality. πŸ‘‰ Donate here: crowdfunder.co.uk/p/qr/vn988… Thank you for supporting Hanover FC and helping us build something special for our community.

Work will commence on Tuesday 3rd November 2026 to transform our existing pitch at Brownstown Park Arena into a new floodlit 3G facility, with completion due for March 2027. This significant development will provide a modern, all-weather playing surface that can be used throughout the year, greatly increasing opportunities for football and community sport across the area. The new facility will be of enormous benefit to the club's growing Hanover Youth programme, which currently supports more than 200 children, providing a safe, high-quality environment for training, matches and player development throughout the year. It will also enhance opportunities for players of all ages and abilities and help meet increasing demand for grassroots football within the local community. This transformational project has been made possible primarily through the substantial financial support of the Irish FA / DCMS Grassroots Facilities Investment Fund, whose investment has provided the foundation for the development. We are also grateful to ABC Council for its valued contribution and continued support for grassroots sport in our community. Minister for Sport, Stephanie Peacock MP, said: β€œAs a Government, we are absolutely committed to making sure that people all over the UK can enjoy the physical, mental and social benefits of sport and physical activity. That’s why we’re investing more than Β£400 million to build and upgrade grassroots facilities in areas across the UK that need them most. This Β£467,818 investment will help Hanover Football Club, so that local people have a high-quality place to play and get active at the heart of the community.” Irish FA Chief Executive, Patrick Nelson, said: β€œWe welcome this further investment from DCMS in grassroots football facilities across Northern Ireland. Access to quality, fit-for-purpose facilities is vital to the growth of our game, helping more people to play, supporting our clubs and communities, and creating better opportunities for players of all ages and abilities. This funding is a positive step towards strengthening the grassroots game and ensuring football can continue to thrive here.” While these contributions have enabled the project to become possible and move forward, they form part of a wider funding package that will also include a significant fundraising commitment from the club. Over the coming weeks & months, Hanover Football Club will be working with local businesses, supporters and the wider community to help raise the remaining funds needed to maximise the potential of this facility for current and future generations. We look forward to sharing updates as work progresses and to welcoming the community to the completed facility in the future.

All at Hanover wish Jamie Rowland all the best and safe travels as he heads off to Australia to experience a new chapter in his life. Jamie signed for the club in August last year and quickly became a popular figure. Through his hard work and commitment he managed a tally of 18 goals in 43 appearances for the club. Not only does Jamie know how to find the back of the net. He also is one of our most versatile players, playing several positions in his time. Which has been a fantastic contribution to the first team squad this season so far. We thank Jamie for his commitment and we hope you enjoy your travels down under. πŸ’™
