What experience do you have?" remains a barrier for many young jobseekers.
We're working with employers to change that by connecting prepared young people to employment opportunities & helping businesses access the talent they need.
Read the story and watch the video below ⬇️
[AD]: Finding a first job in #Rwanda shouldn’t depend on already having work experience.
Since 2018, @HarambeeRw Youth has been connecting young Rwandans with employers who need talent that is ready for work. That means communication, confidence, professionalism, and soft skills “that are not in textbooks.”
Young graduates are moving from part-time work into full-time roles in the Global Business Services sector. Employers are not looking for perfection. They want people who are present and coachable.
Employers such as CCI Rwanda , NCBA Bank Rwanda and TeKnowledge already hire through Harambee, from entry-level roles in GBS and banking to new AI skills training
More than 4,000 young people have been supported so far, and the goal is 20,000+ in the next three to four years, including refugees, persons with disabilities and young women. Ready to grow your team? 📩 [email protected] | 🌐 harambeerw.com

We were proud to join the launch of Teleperformance Rwanda.
As more global employers invest and grow in Rwanda, more opportunities are opening for young people to access meaningful work and build their careers. We look forward to being part of that journey.
Yesterday, RDB Deputy CEO @JulianaMuganza joined the official launch of Teleperformance Rwanda in Kigali, marking the global business services company’s expansion into Rwanda and its growing Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector.
With operations across nearly 100 countries, @wearetpgroup's Rwanda operation will serve international clients while creating opportunities for Rwandan professionals to build skills and careers in the global digital business services industry.
“Today is more than opening an office. It is about opening opportunities for young Rwandans to gain international experience, develop new skills and build careers in a global company while serving clients around the world from right here at home in Rwanda.
Rwanda has made a deliberate choice to position itself as a place where global companies can build, operate and grow.” — RDB Deputy CEO @JulianaMuganza.
The launch also brought together government and industry representatives, including @RwandaICT Minister of State @yves_Iradukunda, @wearetpgroup leadership, @MastercardFdn, @HarambeeAfrica and @RwandaGBSGrowth.

Speaking at "Leading in the Age of AI", an executive breakfast hosted by ALX Enterprise at Norrsken Kigali on Friday, ALX Africa Regional Director Nimie Chaylone urged business leaders to prioritise upskilling their existing workforce to help employees adapt to the AI era rather than replacing them.
"If you find someone who is a culture fit and they have skills, but their skills are becoming obsolete, how can we make sure that you are not losing them but literally keeping them while upskilling them?" she said.
Chaylone said organisations must embed continuous learning into the workplace and equip teams with the skills needed to thrive in an AI-driven economy, while ensuring AI is adopted responsibly.
Today on World Youth Skills Day, we're celebrating the skills that help young people succeed not just in the workplace, but in life.
