Anyway, speaking of Ginni 🍻

Apparently poked a hornets nest with this one??? This, of all posts??? In October??? My favourite comment is that it's really not that deep, and it's like yeah man I agree 😂 It's just unusual to see such a post from a club account, and I'm torn on whether I like it. That's it.

Cal Twomey has Keenan Boi at #30 👀 (we hold pick 29, by the way)

Another couple of changes to Hawthorn's list, with Flynn Perez and Max Ramsden informed that they won't be offered contracts. Felt Perez was very serviceable in his brief time in brown and gold, and I would have been fine with the club retaining him. Didn't look at all out of place in the senior games he played, and looked to be a good depth player. Also want to highlight how he won the Hawks Community Leadership Award. The night of the PCM, getting an insight into all the good work he's been doing off the field, seems like a good egg. Commendable character. Ramsden's delisting is interesting. I can see arguments for and against it. I feel Ramma's trajectory was looking pretty good, improving year on year. He brought a lot to Box Hill, delivering dominant displays in the ruck, and emerging as a reliable forward target. But it's also true that along the journey, it never quite clicked at senior level. I dunno... much like Perez, I would have been happy to see more. The question now: will Hawthorn look at recruiting/drafting another ruck, or do they just leave it? Besides Meek and Reeves, we're happy to run Chol through there, Dear can make the occasional cameo - hell, Weddle and Nash get thrown in there too. Maybe the club figure, y'know what, we've got it covered. Thanks to Flynn and Max for all their contributions to Hawthorn. All the best with whatever's next.
