Doing my best to stop being a negative #Blackhawks fan. Work in progress. Sign Connor Bedard. That would help.

Pardon my optimism: Artyom Levshunov continues to get better and more confident each shift. Fun to watch. #Blackhawks

98 getting some time to snipe is just a thing of beauty. 88 setting him up is a fun bonus.

An NHL intermission show with Tony Granato and Eddie Olczyk is elite. There is absolutely no reason for a third analyst. Especially one who hasn’t played pro hockey. Figure it out, Blackhawks.

Why am I not surprised they are this bad? Like… they got worse?!? #Blackhawks

Barry Melrose. What a beauty. He even wanted a front row seat to watch me play. We’ll miss you, Barry. Thanks for being a true ambassador. #Hockey

Barry Melrose has passed away. One of the true media evangelists for the NHL. Rest in peace. espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/4988…

Patrick Kane: A) They have the cap space. B) They have a need that he immediately fills. C) I don't care if he ever played here before. This is an addition that's needed at this time. It's a good day. #Blackhawks

You're telling me right now that Pat Foley would not accept an offer to return as the voice of the Hawks on TV? If not, maybe home games only? The #Blackhawks are finally redeeming themselves this week. Keep going...

It’s a good day to be a Chicago Blackhawks fan. Man, it feels nice to say that again.

How bad does this Bedard signing make Pat Verbeek look right now? Dude got absolutely torched. And he still has to shed salary. As Coach Q would always say… “Brutal.”

If we were to believe Chelios, the Hawks are at least talking to Kane's people and that is shocking (and encouraging). Can't see him taking Chicago over Buffalo, though. To be on a potential Cup winner (or at least contender) in your hometown? He can't pass that up. We'll see...

I hereby pledge to stop whining about the Hawks if they sign Connor Bedard to an 8-year contract... and offer sheet Adam Fantilli. Promise.

Holding my breath going on this app every time hoping the #Blackhawks’ GM didn’t just make me quit supporting the franchise after 40+ years. #ExtendBedardNow

"You Hawks fans on X are all the same! Bitching and whining and all negative." Yeah, and your favorite team shells out $17 mil for Byram and 58 year old Ian Cole in the first 45 minutes of #NHLFreeAgency #MakeMeChangeMyMind #Blackhawks.

This is a guy you needed to lock up in the first 30 minutes of FA?! Oh boy...

Cole Smith is going to the #Blackhawks: 3 years x $3 million.

Ivan Demidov signing a team friendly 8 x $9.1 mil deal... just hurts more in Chicago.

The Seattle Kraken are going to do something big today. Teams with RFAs... be afraid. #SEAKraken

Silently hoping Bedard gets a $20 mil offer sheet the Hawks will have to match to prove that Davidson doesn’t deserve his job. This extension should be done. Sorry. Not sorry.

I hope I don’t look back on this in three years and regret this, but I don’t think the #Blackhawks can give up on Frank Nazar. Core piece. Don’t do it.
