Since joining the Hawks in 2024-25, no other player in the league has as many steals as Daniels (385) and he has more than 100 thefts than the next closest player (Cason Wallace: 275).
Nickeil Alexander-Walker (31 PTS), Jalen Johnson (20 PTS) and Dyson Daniels (20 PTS) became the first Hawks trio to have two 20+ point scorers and one 30+ point scorer in a season-opening game since 11/5/93 vs. Indiana (Dominique Wilkins-33, Kevin Willis-25, Stacey Augmon-22).
Dyson Daniels has swiped at least one steal in 17 straight games, dating back to 2025-26, the longest active steal streak in the NBA. He earned All-Defensive Second Team honors in 2025-26, one of only two players to earn an All-Defensive Team nod in each of the past two seasons.
