Cruz handled this very well
I talked to @tedcruz about Israel, AIPAC, @TuckerCarlson, and the current state of politics in the USA. This was his response in the brief conversation I had with him today.

He's saying the quiet part out loud: that according to El-Sayed, attacking his associations with terrorism and the Muslim Brotherhood is tantamount to attacking his religion.
El-Sayed: "We had a little debate. Or I had a debate and he just pointed at me and said, 'He's Muslim.'"

Kristan Hawkins on her way to refuse to debate anyone in the pro-life movement who disagrees with her. * Not even joking, I saw her film this about 20 minutes before she refused to talk with me.

Every anti-abortion person should watch this video. 0:00 Context 3:33 The video 6:58 Parting Thoughts I went to Kristan Hawkins' (@KristanHawkins) "Prove Me Wrong" event at GVSU with the goal of having a respectful conversation with her about whether the majority of women who have abortions are "second-victims" and whether that rhetoric is helpful to the anti-abortion movement. ㅤ She refused to speak with me, and when I went to the mic when there was no one there and no line, she instructed her staffers "Don't talk to him. Ignore him." ㅤ After someone tried to talk to her (they were not even with me), there were two minutes where no one was at the mic. She preferred sitting in silence under the "Prove Me Wrong" tent to actually engaging with me, someone who has done anti-abortion activism on that campus multiple days this year, and who was seeking a good-faith dialogue. ㅤ The only thing that broke the silence was when one of her (presumably) staffers went to the mic to ask her a question. ㅤ She also said, "I don't talk with Westboro Baptists" to the first student who tried to respectfully talk with her. That student did not deserve to be spoken to that way. ㅤ He showed no signs of malice whatsoever, and she shut down her conversation with him in under a minute, even though there was no line behind him. I cannot speak for that student, but my understanding is he agrees that incremental legislation is not necessarily sinful. ㅤ Calling people who disagree with her about the second victim narrative "Westboro Baptist types" is slanderous and only pushes more people to become abolitionists. I disagree with abolitionists about incrementalism and have made lengthy, well-researched videos arguing against their opposition to incremental restrictions on abortion. She destroys all that work when she shuts down sincere conversations about the second-victim narrative. Doing so only drives people to become abolitionists whose main appeal is that they rightfully call out the second-victim narrative as bogus. ㅤ Maybe Kristan should consider learning from Charlie Kirk, who spoke with me about this very issue at MSU last year in a very respectful 5-minute conversation, where I immediately left when he said the conversation was over. ㅤ Refusing to talk with anyone who is not in lock-step with her exact pro-life rhetoric only pushes people away from the pro-life moment. Perhaps she could have used today to model the open-mindedness that she desires pro-choicers to have. ㅤ While I consider it unlikely she will ever model the open-mindedness we should want in political debate, if she has a change of heart, she can DM me, and we can set up a good-faith discussion on this in the future.

Kristan, I'm not an abolitionist. I went to your event at GVSU with the goal of having a respectful conversation with you about whether the majority of women who have abortions are "second-victims" and whether that rhetoric is helpful to the anti-abortion movement. You refused to speak with me, and when I went to the mic when there was no one there and no line, you instructed your staffers "Don't talk to him. Ignore him." After someone tried to talk to you (they were not even with me), there were two minutes where no one was at the mic. The only thing that broke the silence was when one of your staffers went to the mic to ask you a question. Calling people who disagree with you about the second victim narrative "Westboro Baptist types" is slanderous and only pushes more people to become abolitionists. You also said, "I don't talk with Westboro Baptists" to the first student who tried to respectfully talk with you. That student did not deserve to be called that, and you know it. He showed no signs of malice whatsoever, and you shut down your conversation with him in seconds, even though there was no line behind him. I cannot speak for that student, but my understanding is he agrees with me that incremental legislation is not necessarily sinful. I disagree with abolitionists about incrementalism and have made lengthy, well-researched videos arguing against them. Their team went from calling me dishonest to losing their fact-check in just two minutes.
They tried to mock this man and in the end the liberals got fact-checked on crime in blue vs red cities

Would have appreciated a tag, lol.
Liberals on Jubilee demand a fact-check on a conservative’s claim about murder in blue cities. Big mistake: the host confirms he’s RIGHT. Watch Hayden stay composed while the blue team piles on, accusing him of dodging the facts on crime. He says murder rates are higher per capita in blue cities than red cities. They talk down to him like he’s an idiot: more people means more crime. Yes. That’s why he said PER CAPITA. One calls him dishonest. Another mocks him for being “real careful with his words.” Apparently, choosing your words carefully is suspicious now. Their own fact-check settles it: HOST: “Democrat-run cities do have a higher average murder rate than Republican cities.” Turns out “real careful with his words” is what being right looks like. They should try it.

Unreal how El-Sayed habitually refuses to answer reporters' questions. When asked a question he doesn't like, he just starts rambling about anything except the question at hand.
HOLD THE PRESS: NBC holds Abdul El-Sayed’s feet to the fire on his family’s ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. He CLEARLY panicked and lashed out at the reporter. NBC: “When people ask you a question, they do expect the truth.” EL-SAYED (flustered): “Are you insinuating that somehow I was lying?!” This is so good. He’s panicking and his lies are catching up to him. A rare act of journalism from NBC News.

🔥 Now this is how you field the questiond about the war in Iran. The crowd's response is epic. GOP Senatorial candidate Justin Murphy's response was pure gold. Senator Cory "Spartacus" Booker's face tells the entire story as Democrats have seen no one come Out swinging like this. "Mr. President, put your cowboy hat on and get out there and kick some a$$...and get this done and get this done right"

Meritocracy isn't the problem. It's the solution. And the fact that both parties are now moving toward wholesale rejection of meritocracy spells the end of American innovation, freedom, and strength.

One more time. #Adoption and #surrogacy are not the same thing. In both cases, the child loses one or both biological parents. But in adoption, the adults raising the child are seeking to mend the wound. In surrogacy, the adults raising the child have inflicted the wound. Adoption is an institution centered around the best interests of the child. Surrogacy is a marketplace centered around the desires of adults. In adoption, adults do hard things on behalf of children. In surrogacy, children do hard things on behalf of adults. One supports children’s rights. The other violates children’s rights.
Millie Bobby Brown has adopted her second child with Jake Bongiovi. The pair adopted their first child together in August 2025. (people.com/millie-bobby-brow…)

The notion of a “public square” for open debate and discussion about difficult and interesting issues is a very good thing for our society. And it’s even better when the people in it engage with good will and good faith. I have no issue with differing opinions - and I try my very best (I know I’ve failed at times) to engage charitably. But it is an act of obvious bad will and bad faith when someone enters a discussion about the role of the state in markets and family under the assertion that “there are those of us who believe in common good and family and values, and then there are ‘libertarians’ “ …. I have yet to hear someone frame things in that utterly absurd false dilemma who actually believes it. It is always, in my experience, said in bad faith. And it ruins public discourse. And it robs people of thoughtful debate in the public square.
