And THIS is one of many reasons we respect and support women and families researching and making their own decisions with childbirth. Ofc there are times when medical intervention is a Godsend, and we don't discredit the great men of history in their accomplishments, yet the system is most certainly not perfect, and we cannot just sit back and "trust the science" regarding many things.

For those that don't know: I weave on a loom and sell my wares, which are posted on my telegram channel and my personal X account. This supplements my family income as a homeschool mom. I currently have three lightweight summer shawls available made from raw silk and organic cotton and hand dyed yarns. I'd like to find homes for them. The most visceral response from homemaker moms is because technically you do still have a choice. Many of us choose the harder path of a single family income so that we can be in our natural roles as mothers. This is heartbreaking, and it effects millions of families every year, yet we sacrifice so that we can preserve sacred motherhood. The real answer here is community.
