Lil paws are coming to robinhood.
When the bell rings on Robinhood, all 999 pop up from the grass at once and each one picks a keeper. Allowlist holders get there first.
The last 24 hrs has been something historical in crypto
Are you excited about the weekend though?
Have a good friday night
Same night. Two platforms. Same underlying problem: something they trusted became a security risk.
On October 29, Binance and Polymarket dealt with separate security breaches. But the way both incidents unfolded raises an important question about platform security.
Binance's initial investigation points to a compromised laptop belonging to a DevOps engineer.
The attacker reportedly used that access to reach an internal service and initiate unauthorised withdrawals.
The estimated impact? Around $6.3 billion.
Now, this is where I have questions.
How does a compromised employee laptop lead to an incident of this magnitude?
If one compromised device could expose that much value, what other security controls failed along the way?
Binance says its investigation is ongoing, and I'm genuinely interested in what the final technical report will reveal. I find it difficult to believe that the initial explanation tells the whole story.
POLYMARKET
The issue here involved a compromised third-party provider.
Malicious code from the provider's service was introduced into Polymarket's website and used to target logged-in users, resulting in unauthorised transactions.
Reported losses were around $2.6 million.
Different entry points, but both incidents raise concerns about the access we give to things we trust.
An employee's device in one case. A third-party service in the other.
We talk a lot about platform security, but how much attention goes into securing the people, devices and external services connected to these platforms?
And with Binance, I'm particularly interested in one thing:
Can a compromised laptop really explain a $6.3 billion incident, or are we still missing important pieces of the story?

AI shouldn’t just replace what human beings do rather it should create new possibilities for how we live, work, and interact with the real world.
The future isn’t about choosing between technology and people. It’s about building systems where both can thrive.
That’s the kind of future worth building.

A meteor just hit the biggest exchange in Crypto.
Binance got hacked and drained
On October 29, approximately 20:24 UTC,
The Binance 14 transaction shows a major hot-wallet outflow of 167,464.25 ETH and $1.615B in USDT, alongside other stablecoins and smaller token balances.
Tx hash: 0x53bd38b816c23e74134786c29a8c18d792777998a3b9326047b583100e88e2f3
A second transaction moved $780M USDC to the same recipient, suggesting the compromise may have remained active.
Tx hash: 0xdc102dd89dded5a83f1008906883ffb7c81ff3b7d7965d8c7277d170b5e17481
There was also 82.54 WBTC small token transfer, but not identified as a Bitcoin wallet drain.
Good news, Circle, Tether, USD1 has taken proactive measures to freeze funds related with the hack.
Binance Users funds are safe too.
Bitcoin fell below $80K, even after three straight days of ETF inflows.
So why isn't the buying lifting price?
Wednesday brought another $137M into spot BTC ETFs. BlackRock's IBIT accounted for $136M, with almost nothing coming from other funds.
That's $423M in inflows across three days, yet BTC couldn't hold $81.5K after the Fed decision.
BTC: $79.8K–$80.3K
ETH: ~$2,310
SOL: ~$100
XRP: ~$1.29
The pullback also triggered roughly $200M–$370M in liquidations, mostly from leveraged longs.
The Fed held rates, but offered little reassurance about cuts ahead.
The issue isn't that ETF buyers have disappeared. It's that their buying hasn't been enough to stop the selling.
And with most of the inflows coming from IBIT, we're still waiting to see broader demand.
$80K is the level to watch now.
If BTC holds it and inflows continue, the recent low could still become a base for recovery. If it breaks down, the market may revisit lower support zones.
Thursday's ETF numbers should help show whether buyers are still stepping in as price weakens.
I'm watching $80K and whether other funds start joining IBIT.
Are you waiting for it to reclaim $81.5K?

The Real-World Asset market is moving beyond theory.
As of October 2026, tokenized real-world assets have reached approximately $39B in on-chain value, excluding stablecoins, according to RWA.xyz data.
But the bigger question isn’t how much value gets tokenized, it’s what that value can do once it moves on-chain.
We’re building toward a connected ecosystem where blockchain meets payments, escrow, digital identity and real-world asset infrastructure.
Tokenization brings assets on-chain. Utility gives that infrastructure a purpose.
That’s the opportunity ahead for RWA.
