The Most Excellent @HelenATSLT challenging us to reconsider #aac through a lens of neurodivergent affirming practices. A brilliantly thoughtful, considered, provocative plenary at #cm2024conf from a 💫 #clinicalacademic @ClinAcSLT @RCSLTResearch @BarnsleyAT @Bristol_SLTRU

Excited to be presenting twice today at the @Comm_Matters conference. Even more excited that I’ve made it ‘bring your spouse to work day’ and get to present alongside my wife, who is sharing her experience of using AAC. See some of you there!

Really enjoyed taking part in @KathBroomfield’s public involvement groups today at @TheNationalStar. Hearing from AAC users and fab to have an illustrator documenting the discussions. Lots learned for my future research!
