🚀 BSG EndoBridge Series (13/15): EUS-Guided Double Drainage
Malignant gastric outlet obstruction + biliary obstruction has traditionally meant multiple procedures, recurrent interventions and prolonged hospital stays.
Not anymore.
🔹 EUS-GE for gastric outlet obstruction
🔹 EUS-BD for biliary drainage
Together, they create an entirely endoscopic "double bypass" for selected patients with advanced malignancy.
✅ High clinical success
✅ Fewer severe adverse events than surgery
✅ Shorter hospitalisation
✅ Improved quality of life
The future of palliation may be a single-session EUS solution.
