Does anyone have an A Level Physics baseline assessment for the new y12s? @ChatPhysics @PhysicsKeith @TurnbullPhysics @CurnowPhysics @FergusonMr1
For the first time ever, my a level physicists didn't leave with anger or tears. Instead they felt the exams were fair. 10 absolute legends. Now onto prom.
Proud of @Arsenal and everyone involved. What a season!! Hold you heads up high.

Etsy has done *something* that’s seen everyone’s sales fall off a cliff over the last few months 😓 if you could give our little shop a visit or RT this, I would be so grateful ❤️
Hi! My mum and I make pretty, fun things we hope out a smile on people’s faces. We’re in it for the joy rather than profit. Christmas may be weeks away, but get yourself ahead (lots of our stuff is limited stock) please RT and share 💕 casacraftsstore.etsy.com
Lab techs - we're moving to 50 minute lessons next year. Any hacks to get equipment out to students quickly.
Goodbye to the class of 2026. Had some of these guys since they were in Y7. As we said farewell, I gave the unifying message of doing the right thing, at all times.
I have launched Carousel Learning with Y12 and Y13 in the last month. Always reflecting and refining.
Updated stats on my exam classes' quizzing habits:
Homework quizzes:
Year 11 have answered a minimum of 1600 questions since Sept (they answer each question in the quiz at least twice)
Year 13 have answered a minimum of 1160 questions (they answer each question at least once)
Study packs: students have created these quizzes themselves, and there's a lot of them.
Whiteboard: these are the quizzes at the start of every lesson, so Y11 have done an additional >200 questions. Year 13 is less, because we often start with an exam question instead.
Completion rates are VERY high. It takes a big effort in the first month of the year, then takes care of itself with a little maintenance after that.
Because I use Carousel Learning's revolutionary C-Scores, I know that students aren't just answering LOTS of questions, but they are perfectly pitched in terms of their difficulty and relationships to spacing and the forgetting curve.
I am REALLY pleased with these numbers, and I definitely couldn't do it without Carousel Learning. There's no doubt it is making a huge difference to their knowledge and understanding 💪💪

Carousel Teaching has changed my practice, and today I relaunched Carousel learning with Y12 and 13. Any advice on ensuring successful implementation of it? @Carousel_Learn @adamboxer1
All the best Danny Kelly. A wonderful human being. You've got this 💪 thank you for speaking and hopefully you inspire others to get checked out.
Completed my first unit on Carousel Teaching @Carousel_Learn and have now prepared my department CPD. It is not only making me a better teacher, it is also making me a better leader.
Just completed the demo of Carousel Teaching @adamboxer1 and I have a granular action step to start tomorrow. Fab work from all the team.
