It is true that I founded @PharmacyTechInt but if you look carefully at the profile name and not just the ‘handle’ I’ve used the full protected title despite that protection not being offered by every country that utilises members of the profession.

You founded @PharmacyTechInt. That shortened technician to tech for the same reasons we do in some headlines, which also have a character limit. Technician is always spelled out in full in the articles themselves. Sometimes we need a practical abbreviation for headlines.

Community pharmacy teams are invited to take part in a new research to explore the public health role of the community pharmacy workforce in the UK. The researchers are keen to hear from the whole workforce - including technicians, dispensers, counter assistants & delivery drivers to ensure non-pharmacist perspectives are well-represented.
