Crypto in general is a sad place... More launchpads. More rugs. 10,000 Derivatives of the same token
Originality is dead. But bills need to be paid and pumpers need to pump so same thing will continue to happen
KOL > Bundle > Make $$$ > Dump on 99% > Repeat
Pretty fun and ingenious game! Be sure to give it a play 💪

Everyone Web3 Gaming this or that. Then you post and you turn into a scammer this and that
I’ve been rugged 100/100 in this space and I’d still love to see it happen
Keep building people. Someone gonna do it
Don't have much of a dog in the fight, but I'll say, strictly from early gameplay, it's pretty decent
I think multiplayer gets worked. Economy gets going. More minor improvements, and it could actually work. I'd try it before you cast judgment: worldsalpha.com/
Now, MC, Hytale, Roblox you have plenty of competition, but the replayability is really off the charts
- Got 10 minutes run an expedition
- Got 1 Hour run one with friends
- Got all day? Run a couple, level up etc.
I think the loop is there. We shall see
The fact you can have 1,000 of the same dumb token is wild to me
Can you become more like stocks. If you launch first we’ll GG can’t use that one again
Life would be so much easier
I know we are anti crypto gaming or web3 or whatever you wanna call it. Let's just say gaming since it will all merge eventually
But I must admit the new alpha test for @hytopiagg is actually quite entertaining. Interested to see how it progresses but early days easy to spend 30-60 minutes without thinking twice about it
Pretty cool watching all studios, indi devs, ai devs, you name it spinning up whatever they want
It isn't so much one platform winning anymore in my eyes
I really think "Who can create the Stickiest Game" doesn't matter the platform anymore
Hypothetically. If this happens how bad do NFT's Nuke?
Like OpenSea is gone... MagicEden stole your money... Blur farmed you for fake usership...
Actually pretty tuff scene. Someone likely vibes a platform, collects fees, buybacks/distribution to users, GG's the space
The world you thought you knew is going to get tilted, flipped, dipped, ripped and run 100X faster than you thought
Your "Studio" isn't the MOAT anymore
Think long and strong about how you become a standout in the world of #AI because "Viral Diamonds" are all that matters

I'll die on this hill
I still think @tylerdurdeth one of the best in Crypto and remains criminally underfollowed & underappreciated
That is all I have to say today. Give him a follow. Learn his ways. Make some $$$. Enjoy life
I am up over 100 TAO from my subnet portfolio today. Who said you couldn’t make money in dTAO when $TAO is pumping?
Big Congrats to the man @RicardoDeZoete on taking 3rd Place!!!
From zero experience, to dev'ing and winning competitions! He is a must follow in the Indi-Dev Space
Looking forward to all the future creations, congrats on the W 🙌👏

3rd Place goes to TERRA RIFT by @RicardoDeZoete
Fast-paced shooter where terrain is a weapon, portals open new routes, and dinosaurs carry you into battle.
Play it 👉 studio.sandbox.game/play/542…
League of Legends MMORPG would be the single greatest competition to WOW
Lot of people complaining but the nostalgia is the point. Emotions create the tie that never lets you forget it
You’ll yearn for those moments. Grinding, exploring without a care in the world

I've been thinking about why I'm stepping back from Web3 gaming, and honestly, I think it's pretty simple.
Web3 gaming failed to give gamers a reason to choose it.
And I think the industry completely misunderstood what gaming actually is.
I keep seeing people say:
"It's entertainment."
Bro.
If gaming is just entertainment, that's a movie.
You pay for it, you're entertained for a couple of hours, and you leave.
But gaming became one of the biggest industries in the world for a reason.
I've watched it grow for more than 20 years.
Gaming isn't just something you consume.
You build.
You compete.
You develop your character.
You develop your skills.
You create.
You explore.
You make friends.
You build communities.
You spend thousands of hours mastering something.
Maybe you're building a character.
Maybe you're building a guild.
Maybe you're competing at the highest level.
Maybe you're creating content.
Maybe you're just trying to become the best player you can be.
There is something to build, something to master, or something to prove.
That's what gaming became.
So when I see Web3 gaming reduce gaming to either entertainment or an economic system, honestly, I find it ridiculous.
You're talking about gamers like they're either consumers or wallets.
And that's the exact opposite of what made gaming so powerful in the first place.
I thought Web3 was supposed to change that.
Ownership.
Protection of effort.
Player-driven economies.
Communities that actually matter.
A way for players to have more control over the worlds they've spent years building their lives around.
But the gamer stopped being the point.
And that's a massive problem.
Because if I'm putting hundreds or thousands of hours into a game, I don't just want to be entertained.
I want to build something.
The problem is, I can't build on what I put into these games.
I can spend hundreds of hours building a character.
I can spend years building a community.
I can create content.
I can bring players into a game.
I can become part of its identity.
And then what?
What can I actually build from all of that?
What can I take forward?
What can the next player build on?
What does the community get to build?
Too often, nothing.
And that's where Web3 missed one of its biggest opportunities.
Clarity Act has always been a LARP from congress.
Believe me, they don't want more approval going through because it means their "Crime Season" ends. But it also slows down the greater humanity movement. It's a win win for them
So for now Tokens remains King
NFT = Directionless Holes
Sad but nobody wants them anymore because you cannot give holders enough. Floor will always dip if there is a token involved because liquidity flows downstream
Especially if buybacks are the biggest way to show positive alignment
Funny that it's nearly illegal to do "Rev Share" based on holders unless you have $5-10M to spend on legal fees to set up many round away tunnels
So yea it all circles back to the same thing in the end
Sad. But thus is life. More activity will flow to Fomo and other places as people can't do much more in this space other than trade tokens
Rick get richer & poor get poorer
