Hero Rewatch Podcast

For our Fantastic Four rewatch, we're framing the episodes with a series of questions about how the movie adapts the concepts of the FF. This clip features the most important question: Does The Thing yell, "It's Clobbering Time!" in the movie?

Comics Yon-Rogg kinda looks like Jude Law! Here he is not even allowing Mar-Vell the minimum 30-second goodbye hug that's mandated by Space Regulations! And that's just a minimum! Yong-Rogg could allow a longer hug if he wanted. But he doesn't. Because he sucks.

This is movie is full of big important ideas so we try to live up to that by discussing what filmmaking history might look like in four thousand years and did Stan Lee mean to write "pussyoat" in a 1960s comic or what was that a typo? Do we solve it? Listen to find out!

Did you just watch the new Doctor Strange movie? I haven’t seen it yet but my brother and I re-watched the first movie for our podcast. Take a listen and hear us talk about how we love when a villain is a big face that shoots lasers from its mouth podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

I just read 4 or 5 different Moon Knight runs from the first ongoing to the current one and every time MK's origin, family, or even the deal with his personalities is referenced, it's different than the last time. But they all happened. It's fine, it's good, it's comics

Fun to see Marvel Studios fans having arguments about what is or isn’t in continuity just like comic fans have had for decades. We’re at the point where the movies/shows are just like the comics: there’s tons of things that “really happened” but will never be referenced again

NEW EPISODE! We watch "Captain America: The Winter Soldier"! We talk about Captain America, we talk about The Winter Soldier and I talk a LOT about Batroc the Leaper! But not too much because it's our shortest episode in a while! You're welcome! podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

Just posted the Thor: Dark World episode of the MCU rewatch podcast I host with my brother (we're 12 years apart in age, he's now the age I was when Iron Man came out). But we did a GREAT Iron Man 3 episode two weeks ago. It'd be a shame if you missed it open.spotify.com/episode/69J…

Another great past episode is when we talked about Avengers and interviewed our dad! He's the whole reason we got into Marvel Comics in the first place so it was great to find out what he thinks the movies are missing: Adam Warlock and Child Soldier Bucky podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

We got Josie to talk to us about Superman. I sometimes don't like to talk about DC movies on the podcast because it feels weird as a writer of animated DC projects. But Josie is not a coward like me, get ready to hear her opinions about Superman! (They're great, like her)

Also Jack Kirby drew this panel to explain the three branches of humanity and EVERY artist who has ever had to explain it since does their take on these three heads. I will cheer out loud if a version of these are in the movie. Out loud.

In old Eternals comics, every time they meet any other Marvel hero, they spend several pages of the comic explaining The Eternals' deal and explaining why the hero had never heard of them before even though they've always been here. Legit excited for the movie to do the same

This is what I'd want from an X-Men movie. Five teenagers who (sort of) have powers fighting one large, nearly nude, man.

I'm not going to watch a leaked Spider-Man trailer. I'm not going to watch a released Spider-Man trailer. I will never forget that in 2004 they put the entire plot of Spider-Man 2 in the trailer
