We knew it, but seeing the data laid out – it's still shocking: higher taxes for most, deep cuts to Medicaid & SNAP—all to fund tax breaks for the top 1%.
It's difficult to fully grasp the scale of the con being perpetrated on Americans right now by the Trump administration.

TikTok tucking itself in with Trump. Twitter under control of the White House. Facebook making major changes to placate MAGA, doing PR campaign to align w Trump.
Does everyone not see what’s happening here and how terrifying this is.

The single worst thing about Trump to me will always be how much he's changed people. I've watched friends and relatives become entirely new, worse people in the wake of his political rise. Like it's not merely that he's a terrible guy, it's that he's ruined people.
This tweet got me to rewatch the movie last night for the first time in maybe 8 or 9 years and man this movie is so good. I was grinning wide throughout the whole thing

Working in for 10+ years marketing has taught me that people often overlook the power of branding on announcements like this.
The value add to Game Pass here is immense. COD is one of the biggest brands in all of gaming. The Xbox marketing team is about to pop off on this.

April 5th is Akira Toriyama's birthday!
9am EST is when the largest number of people on earth are likely awake.
On this day and time join us for a global moment to celebrate Toriyama-sensei by either trying to go Super Saiyan or raise your hands up to give him our energy.

Man, I'm filled with such immense emotion at the moment thinking about how much Dragon Ball means to me and the world. I can recall so much time I spent as a kid trying to go Super Saiyan, teleport, Kamehameha, etc. A large amount of my imagination was fueled by DB. A lot of my taste was influenced by Goku vs Frieza alone. A generation was changed thanks to Toriyama.
Growing up DBZ was always my favorite show. I had the toys, the vhs tapes, the how-to draw books, you name it.
It wasn’t until my 20s that I read the original manga and found that as much as I loved the anime growing up, the manga was even better.
Thank you for my childhood.

Oscar Nom Hot Take: we use the term snub too freely.
Snub implies that someone not nominated deserved the nomination more so than an actual nominee. Sometimes there are just too many good movies and everyone can’t be nominated.
That being said, we have some snubs this year.
Short answer: money.
Long answer: it’s a property that millions already love that has a complete story that’s already told in episodic format. It’s a much safer investment to put money into something that at the very least millions of people will hate watch.

This is evil.
Plain and simple.
I don’t understand how you could see it any other way.

There is something deeply wrong with the legal system if it can hold a presumably innocent man for 30 years, and ignore the evidence that could have overturned his conviction. And now, the governor’s office has denied his chance for clemency and he will have to wait 6 more years.
A report by @radleybalko:
Gov. Sanders denies clemency to Charlie Vaughn, an innocent man who’s been in prison for decades.
Exonerated by both DNA evidence and another man's confession, Vaughn remains trapped on a legal technicality.
