If you walked into your local county building tomorrow and started filming, what do you think would happen?
Would you get the treatment seen here?
On June 24, 2022, First Amendment auditor Dan Warmus entered the Wyoming County Government Building in Warsaw, NY, to film publicly accessible areas and file a FOIL request at the County Clerk’s office.
He signed the visitor log as “Dan, Erie County.” Wyoming County Sheriff’s Deputies M. Sage and S. Omans (older female deputy) confronted him, blocked his path to the clerk’s office, and put hands on him while directing him away.
Warmus repeatedly said “Do not touch me,” demanded body cameras be turned on, stated he was not detained, and accused the deputies of battery and violating his rights in a public building.
Capt. Erik Tamol and then-Sheriff Gregory Rudolph later arrived.
At one point a hallway door was locked. Warmus eventually signed in with his real name, gained access, and continued filming (including in the Board of Supervisors’ room).
The county later removed the sign-in sheet.
Sheriff Rudolph announced his retirement days later.
Warmus sued the County of Wyoming, Rudolph, Tamol, Sage, and Omans in federal court (Warmus v. County of Wyoming et al., W.D.N.Y.).
The case was dismissed with prejudice in March 2024 via stipulation (consistent with settlement).
❓Should law enforcement be trained specifically on First Amendment auditor encounters?
❓Should county employees and deputies be allowed to decide who gets access to public building spaces based on how they sign in?

🚨BREAKING: The woman punched in the face at Trump’s Youngstown rally has filed a report seeking to press charges, and the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating three men.
The woman was wearing a “Release the Epstein Files” shirt when she started shouting during the Oct. 12 rally at the Covelli Centre. Videos show three Trump supporters going after her, and at least one punched her in the face and pulled her hair, The Vindicator reports. Others can be seen restraining her as she was attacked. Deputies removed her. The Trump supporters were permitted to stay.
Trump stopped speaking, then said: “He’s a paid protester. They’re all paid.” He misidentified her gender and made fun of her weight. No evidence has been offered that she was paid. According to Newsweek, she told The New York Times that no organization coordinated or financed her appearance and (surprise) ordinary citizens can want powerful p*dophiles held accountable.
No arrests were made that night. Sheriff Jerry Greene said deputies didn’t see the assault and she hadn’t filed a report. His office then found her through social media and her if she would like to press charges. She said yes. As of Oct. 21, the sheriff said he’d identified three men, two from the area and one from New Jersey. The two area men want lawyers present for their interviews.
Separately, a man named Russell Dickert bragged that he and “a friend” named Gary his son Clint “subdued her and threw her to the concrete.” Dickert’s LinkedIn, located by Reich-Wing Watch, happened to list his residence in New Jersey. Police haven’t disclosed the identify of the three suspects they identified.
Prosecutor Lynn Maro said her office’s information indicates a misdemeanor assault, though Greene said the woman’s injuries could change that.
The woman has been identified as Blake Miley, 29. She’s represented by civil rights attorney Subodh Chandra. Whether to charge anyone is up to prosecutors.

FOUR KIDS AT HOME AND THEY'RE FILMING HIM FOR CLOUT??
Harmless content, or picked the wrong guy?
A Red Baron rep is stocking a grocery store freezer when a couple of young people with a camera start messing with him. He snaps, then tells them he has to be up at 5 in the morning, he's still out working late, he's got four kids at home and he can't pay his mortgage.
If that were my son holding that phone, the video would come down and he'd be finding that man to apologize to his face.
Yes, he lost his cool. Calling somebody a punk on camera never helps your case.
Now look at what he's carrying. Early mornings, more stores to hit, four kids and a mortgage. And somebody decided his bad day would make good content.
There's a guy like him in every grocery store in America, grinding through the shift nobody sees. Turning one of them into the punchline isn't edgy. It's lazy.
Leave the working man alone. He's got enough on his plate.

Dez Bryant says he was was cut off by reckless drivers yesterday, and then when he tried to tell them to drive safer, one of the drivers threatened to shoot him and then called the cops on him. Dez says when police arrived, they aimed guns at him and made him get on the ground, all while his daughters watched.
Bryant is now calling for fairness and a thorough investigation.
"Treat everybody fair. Treat everybody fair. Treat everybody with respect," he said. "Do your due diligence on what’s actually going on."

Meet MAGAt Arpineh Masihi and "criminal illegal alien." Arpineh legally came to the United States from Iran at age 3, but lost her green card 15 years ago after a grand theft and burglary conviction.
So naturally, when Donald Trump promised mass deportations, Arpineh and her husband cheered from their Diamond Bar, CA home, fully convinced the leopards would only eat other people's faces. Plot twist: ICE knocked on her door on June 30, 2025, and hauled her off to the Adelanto detention center for a lovely 187-day stay courtesy of the U.S. government.
While she was locked in a cell for over six months, her devoted husband kept Trump flags proudly flying outside their house. Even after her release, Arpineh's cognitive dissonance remains completely bulletproof. She still refuses to blame her idol, declaring to the media: "I still support the president of the United States." Apparently, nothing says "I love America" quite like spending half a year in federal custody for the guy who literally ordered the raids.
You won't find her tagging him to say thank you, though. After getting swamped with brutal backlash from both the left and the right, she is completely hiding from X and begging the media not to show her face online.
El-Sayed: In my Neurology unit, I would have to give that MOCA exam, that cognitive test he's so proud of… The only people you give that test to are people who you worry may have cognitive deficits. By definition, if you’re taking one of those tests, something is wrong.
And you know the doctor who gave it to him was like, I just want to see how smart you are, sir. And he's like, me too.
He brags about having taken it. He's like I remembered the rhinoceros. You're like Habibi, everybody remember the rhinoceros.
And the funny thing about it is, you know, he's taken it multiple times. So he's not even bragging about the first time he took it. He's like, I took it the 1st time and then I took it the 2nd time. So with Donald Trump, you can't blame him for this, he's just dumb.
But for Mike Rogers, can you imagine how small of a human being you have to be to know that he has real deficits and to just nod your head approvingly at the most ridiculous shit that the man proposes?
