Sky News special correspondent Alex Crawford reported from inside Taiz, Yemen's third-largest city, before her team got out as Houthi forces encircled and later fully sealed-off the city.
Her report shows how desperate conditions have become for the residents trapped inside. Incubators are full, vulnerable babies are being turned away, and “all the hospitals in Taiz lack basic medicines and supplies.”
I wonder how many world leaders will talk about this terrorist 👇
CCTV Footage: French man, Kevin T., opened fire, specifically targeting people of colour. At least one person was killed, four seriously injured — including a 12-year-old girl who was shot eight times — and about ten others were wounded.
He told police he wanted to attack 'Black people' and 'Arabs.'
A copy of 'Mein Kampf' was found at his home.
People are right to criticise past Saudi trade restrictions that hit Yemeni food and medicine supplies.
So why is the Axis of Resistance silent on the Houthis siege of Taiz, where ~1 million people face starvation and medical shortages?
Curious what I’m missing.
New @hrw #Yemen report: Amidst the Houthis' siege on #Taiz, the Houthis' demolition of a portion of Hayjat al-Abd further endangers civilians already struggling with severe shortages of food, water, medicine, and fuel, and may amount to a war crime.

So does that mean Twitter warriors are cool with Pakistan again ?
Just checking so I can prepare for the week.
It goes without saying that during this very high tension time, this is a really big deal.
These are very high level individuals. The Saudi defense minister is not going to casually show up to Tehran unless something is going on.
I'd guess they're gonna talk about:
- Some plan for mediations with the US
- Drawing red lines for if active conflict breaks out again
- The Saudi-Yemeni war
It also goes to show Asim Munir's earlier trip wasn't necessarily a failure as it was depicted in some media outlets last week

How can TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND SEVENTY people be punished for the action of 2 individuals ⁉️
The world’s leaders should take actions to #EndCollectivePunishment
Can I ask the Twitter warriors to calm down and maybe listen to the official ambassador below.
Also Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is only 2-3% of Pakistan's energy needs, where its used for household cooking in areas without piped natural gas.
Clarification Regarding Reports on the Closure of Iranian Borders to Pakistan
With regard to reports concerning the closure of Iranian borders to Pakistan, I would like to clarify a few important points here:
First, there are currently no restrictions on the Iranian side on the export of Iranian goods to Pakistan, including LPG.
Iran's borders with all its neighboring countries remain open.
Naturally and rationally, under the prevailing circumstances, it would be neither logical nor in the interests of either side for Iran to close its borders to its immediate neighbors, particularly brotherly Pakistan.
Second, changes in the implementation of Pakistan's E-Form procedure for imports from Iran have created a situation in which traders are effectively and literally unable to dispatch cargo from Iran to Pakistan.
Consultations with the Pakistani side are currently underway to address this issue.
Third, according to reports, several hundred trucks carrying LPG have crossed the Rimdan border into Gabd on the Pakistani side.
However, despite having remained there for several weeks, these trucks have yet to be unloaded or cleared, further complicating the movement of goods and the smooth flow of bilateral trade.
Finally, I would like to emphasize that cross-border trade between Iran and Pakistan is an integral part of the bilateral agreements reached at the highest levels. It serves the mutual interests of both countries and their people.
Iran has made every possible effort, leaving no stone unturned, to facilitate and promote this essential bilateral trade.
We remain committed to continuing these efforts in close coordination with our Pakistani counterparts to overcome existing challenges, facilitate the movement of goods, and strengthen economic cooperation between our two brotherly countries.

I think this report needs more exposure. It shows how 'precision' as described by Israel was designed to cause mass casualties and destroy most of Gaza. This report analyzes use of weapons by Israel & the European & American Supply chains sustaining it. aoav.org.uk/2026/explosive-w…

The striking resemblance between the Palestinian woman standing amid the rubble and Handala, the iconic character created by Palestinian cartoonist Naji al-Ali, goes beyond physical posture; it creates a powerful visual dialogue between art and reality. Both figures stand upright, their hands clasped behind their backs, embodying a quiet yet profound sense of defiance. While Handala’s turned back symbolizes refusal, protest, and an unwavering moral stance, the woman’s presence amid the ruins confronts us with the human reality behind the symbol. Through this visual parallel, the photograph reawakens Handala in the collective Palestinian memory, bridging generations of resistance and displacement. Handala transforms defiance into an icon; the woman brings that icon back to life. Their resemblance reminds us that behind every symbol lies a human story, and that even when the world around them collapses, Palestinians remain standing.
