Upon our arrival in #HoimaCity yesterday ahead of today's #WorldTourismDay23 celebrations, we participated in the City Mayor's Round Table discussion organized by @UNDPUganda & partners where we had progressive engagements with the city leadership, tourism stakeholders and local leaders regarding;
- Promoting green investments (as is the theme for this year's Tourism Day celebrations)
- Creating jobs through tourism
- Bolstering domestic tourism
- General dev't of the city etc.
I thank the Mayor Mr.Brian Kaboyo and his team, the Gov't officials, local leaders and other individuals who participated in the discussion for welcoming us to Hoima and according time to matters that will develop tourism.
