Financial advisers @stevewebb1 @PensionsMonkey - what do you suggest for people getting divorced who need a pension valuation/ cetv & are in Teachers’ pension scheme / waiting for transitional protection to get sorted? Asking for a reader who can’t get the answers she needs.

Gutting news for all at @withnosso sorry to hear this. It’s a tough environment out there & I think we’ll see more closures of smaller players throughout 2024, as some new Big Dogs come to market with deeper pockets to fight the acquisition fight.

Interesting to read ⁦@TheFCA⁩ ‘Advice Gap’ policy paper. We’ve been testing the concept of Targeted Support from a content perspective with our service for women 40-59. Think ‘People Like Me’ & a data-led approach is very powerful. Feels like progress. #advicegap

Gosh. One of our readers is getting himself tied up in a knot about annuities and pensions. Do any advisers have some helpful videos or plain-talking articles which might help him? On the tax rules about SIPPs or how annuities work? @PeteMatthew any podcasts you suggest?

I thought this article I was emailed by ⁦@thetimes⁩ was very informative. Sounds like James is having a bit too much fun in Qatar!

I think that was a pretty decent Autumn Statement - better than expected. The potential pension reform to support one pension which the employee chooses & takes with them to new jobs is a good thing. Promotes transparency, choice, comparison & engagement. Tricky admin to fix tho!

Was using AI to help me pull together some info about pot follows member in Australia. Not quite sure this will make it into tomorrow's Autumn Statement. Someone needs to tell AI what pensions people mean by 'pot'.

Developed a frozen shoulder last night. The hours between 1am and 3am were very long &painful and kept going bloody backwards!! Any tips gratefully received. This is my least glamorous Twitter photo ever. No sleep. No make up. And I can’t even tie my hair back! Oh joy! 💃

My initial @monzo ISA review. What I like the most? The ease of setting up regular contributions- a good habit. Nice. The least? It’s too hard to work out what you’re paying. The charges are pretty absent from the account opening journey. Tut. boringmoney.co.uk/isas-pensi…

We've crunched the numbers for #robo and ready-made performance to the end of Sep. Things slowly returning to more normal patterns after a bad 2 years. Av high-risk 7.4% net of fees after 1 year. You can read full results here boringmoney.co.uk/learn/arti…
