The Finance Bill 2024 has been thoroughly analyzed by financial experts, economists, and the business community.
Across various segments of our country, public participation has revealed a clear consensus.
Religious institutions have opposed the bill.
Manufacturers and businesses of all sizes have voiced their disapproval.
International financiers have raised concerns about the sustainability of the proposed taxes.
The general public has warned the government against implementing these punitive taxes.
Economists and other analysts have expressed skepticism about the projected impact of these excessive taxes. After reviewing the data, I WILL OPPOSE this bill, as I did last year, because Kenyans have had enough of burdensome taxes.
"For a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle." ~Winston Churchill

Today the people of Rongai and Kware in Kajiado County have shown us overwhelming support and love. Thank you for the warm reception and unwavering solidarity. The people have spoken! Kasongo WANTAM siku zote! 💪
This morning, i Joined @RealMatiangi, @NdindiNyoro and fellow opposition leaders at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Ongata Rongai, for prayer and fellowship.
May God continue to grant the Church’s leadership wisdom, strength, and humility in serving the community.
Rongai, we are on our way coming with Kifaru🦏 ya Kazi, @RealMatiangi , Get ready!
Lighting up our streets, illuminating our small towns, and bringing hope, security, and progress to our people. Together, we are building a brighter future for our constituency.
My deepest sympathies goes out to the families who lost their loved ones following the tragic incident that occurred in Eastleigh. May the Almighty comfort them and give them strength during this painful moment. To everyone who was injured, I wish you a speedy recovery. May God bring healing, peace, and comfort to all those affected.
If Kenyans simply evaluated aspiring leaders based on their upbringing, CVs, achievements, track records and character, identifying the right leader to steer our country would be far easier.
Instead of William Ruto addressing the important issues affecting Kenyans like these ,he is instead busy climbing on top of vehicles, issuing insults and abuses at his political opponents. That is not the kind of leadership Kenyans deserve!
#WANTAM
Today, we successfully installed a high mast at Mogonga Market, boosting security and creating a safer environment for a thriving 24-hour economy. Tomorrow, we move to other major towns across Bomachoge Borabu. Step by step, we are lighting up our constituency.
How can I clap for @WilliamsRuto when he has done absolutely NOTHING for my constituency? A few months ago, he visited my constituency and promised that KSh 300 million had been allocated for the completion of our stalled road. Since then, nothing meaningful has been done, and my people continue to suffer because of the pathetic condition of that road.
My people deserve development too because they are taxpayers who contribute to this country's economy. We cannot continue living on empty promises from William Ruto .
Until then, my constituents and I have declared KASONGO TAWE!
