I know they'd never do it, but I'd drop MONEY on a series of Resident Evil DEmakes where it's just 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9 in the style of the OG games. They would probably be cheap as hell to make, too.

The NBA schedule was brutal in the 1960s. Oscar played all 82 games in 62-63. Look at this stretch of eight games in 10 days and the minutes he played. Can you really say today’s game is tougher on the players’ bodies and why there are more injuries? I’m seriously asking.

The number of possessions per game back then was actually higher, and players faced a far more brutal schedule while logging significantly more minutes. Yet, stars rarely missed games.
Wilt once played 48.5 minutes per game across 80 games, not missing a single contest in one of the fastest-paced eras ever.
So the question is, what was actually different about how the sport was played?
1. Stricter dribbling, carrying, and traveling rules prevented today's violent, multi-directional explosive moves.
2. Stricter offensive foul rules prevented attackers from bulldozing defenders and recklessly forcing contact to finish down low.
3. No 3-point line meant defenses didn't have to cover massive stretches of open space on the perimeter.
Because of these rules, players moved in simpler, straight-line tracks rather than making awkward, high-impact twists and turns. The game relied far more on pure fundamentals and positioning… not the relentless stopping, starting, and screening at insane speeds that strains modern bodies.
