u guys focus too much on the tone of the chap and not its actual contents, chap 5 is a FINE continuation actually thats not worse or better than any of the previous chaps, if the tone didnt click w/ u thats ok, but tbh its such a small fix that it rlly doesnt need any reordering

Tbh it just feels like there were a lot more scenes of Asgore present but most of them were cut for "pacing" reasons, though imo I think Toby might've cut too much? It's okay to have 'fluff' scenes that don't progress/add smth to the character, it helps their arc feel less rushed

I wonder why the man who's supposed to represent integrity doesn't really like flowery? I'd like to think flowery is an earnest character but maybe he's not? I mean he did switch up his whole tone at his death scene, going from confident to self-deprecating when he failed once
