Always a great time catching up with two close friends and mentors of mine - Coach David Duke of Adelphi University and Coach Joe Conefry of Molloy University. David and Joe have had a bunch of success as coaches and it will only continue for them. Coach Joe Conefry is the newly named Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Division 2 Molloy University after having tremendous success while leading the Holy Trinity HS Boys Basketball program for many years. This past year, Coach David Duke was named NE-10 Coach of the Year, All-Met Division 2 Coach of the Year, and led the team to a first place finish in the NE-10 Conference, as well as a birth in the NCAA Division 2 Tournament. It has been an awesome experience working with both of them over the course of a lot of years. Time flies!!
Our Boys 7th Grade Red Team does a great job of PASSING THE BALL, SHARING THEIR SHOTS, and PLAYING THE RIGHT WAY!!
In these two video clips, the boys do a great job running our motion offense utilizing passing, cutting, back cutting, and our curl/ pop option within our pass and screen away action.
They have become a really fun group to watch play. They are a COMMITTED group and they have been a committed group since many of them began in 2nd grade (some earlier than that!!). It is a PROCESS and it takes time. Keep working hard boys!!
Our Boys 4th Grade Blue Team is seen here together after a nice TEAM win. It has been fun to watch them grow as people and players over the past few years. Keep working hard boys!!
Our Boys 5th Grade Blue Team is seen here doing a GREAT JOB of PASSING THE BALL and CUTTING, which leads to an open drive to the rim at the end of the possession. Great job boys!!
