Ken Kutaragi told The Game Business there's a "very real danger" the console age is ending. He says machines are "super expensive," PCs cost "the price of a car," and AI platforms like Google Gemini run on servers, not on your device.
He made it clear these are his own views, not Sony's. Hearing that from the guy who built the PS1 and PS2 is wild, especially with next-gen price talk getting scarier every week.
I think he's right about the prices and early on the timing. People still want a console under the TV, and GTA 6 alone is about to keep PS5s flying off shelves.
