Why should you carry firearms and tools, and get training and equipment to be prepared for evil people intending to commit violence? Not only to protect yourself and your loved ones, but also protect anyone innocent and defenseless… If you are defenseless, unequipped, and unprepared, you are most likely to become a victim to an evil person or people intending to commit violence… That is why it is crucial to be armed, equipped, well-trained under stress, and prepared to respond to a deadly threat with up to deadly force… TeamAmericaTactical.com – at Tempe, AZ

I always hear people on the topic of “owning a firearm is self-defense”. Owning a firearm equals self-defense as much as owning a hammer makes you a carpenter… If you want to be effective with a firearm, you not only have to train often, but you have to train under stress constantly and in realistic scenario-based training… You need to know how to perform under fire and even perform if you are struck by gunfire… You have to have a warrior mindset and have your reactionary defense in muscle memory from repetition beyond measure… To be a warrior, you have to train like one constantly… If not, stay in the garden and hope that moment never falls in your lap… Don’t live in fear of the unknown. Instead, train, equip, and prepare for any unknown scenario to feel comfortable and confident in your ability to respond to any threat at any moment… That is a warrior!!! – at Tempe, AZ

🚨TACTICAL TUESDAYS🚨 Today we need to expound on the idea of the OODA Loop… This is the premise for most everything we will discuss in tactics and situational awareness… Observing everything that we see, hear, smell, feel, etc. Orienting ourselves with what our environment is and if we have a potential or imminent threat in our environment while looking at our options (fight, flee, etc)… Making a sound decision on what we have as survivable and viable options… Then acting on our decision with fierce and confident intent… It is equally important to find ways to distract or disrupt your threat’s OODA Loop… Here is a great guide on how to use it in your day to day life, and how it applies to your day to day life… #TacticalTuesdays – at Tempe, AZ

🚨SAFETY SUNDAYS🚨 Today we need to talk about home defense… Most importantly is that most states operate as “Castle Doctrine” states, meaning you must identify an imminent threat to you and/or others in order to use deadly force on an intruder within your home… That being said, it is just as important to make your home impenetrable and undesirable to break into for criminals that do it for a living… We have burglaries where they may try to sneak in and out unnoticed, and we have home invasions where they force their way in with violence… Having firearms secured in your home is less that a bad guy can take with them and use for other criminal acts… Having firearms accessible means you can end an imminent threat as well… You can have your firearms secure and accessible with @VaraSafety long gun and handgun safes… Get yours today via teamamericatactical.com/shop Or at varasafety.com/TEAMAMERICATA… Use “TEAMAMERICATACTICAL” at checkout for 15% off Here’s a great guide for home safety measures and ideas… #SafetySundays – at Tempe, AZ

🚨THREAT ASSESSMENT THURSDAYS🚨 How does one identify a potential threat by assessment? We have to first acknowledge when our surroundings don’t have our undivided attention and correct that. Threat assessment starts by knowing what potential threats are out there and doing your research at home (terrorist activity, mental illness, political violence, suicidal/homicidal people, home invasions, robbers, predators, stalkers, etc). Then being consciously aware of anomalies everywhere you go. Apply your OODA loop in all aspects of your daily routine. Remember what General Mattis said, “Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.” The takeaway is to not let yourself be unguarded and always be physically/emotionally prepared to fight for your life with the ferocity that your life and family depends on you to win and survive. “People watching” is great practice for finding anomalies in your environment and it is not “profiling”. It is finding out what stands out in your environment and processing why. It is learning how to manufacture and trust your intuition (gut feeling). That helps you focus on a potential threat before they become an imminent and deadly threat. It is much easier to be comfortable in your surroundings when you know what to look for and how to quickly determine if you see a potential threat. Living in fear is being oblivious of what to look for and how to react if you were to become a victim. The “That won’t happen to me.” mentality makes you an easy target to a criminal/predator. Threat assessment helps you stay “left of bang” or stopping/preventing/avoiding an incident altogether. Here’s a great guide on threat assessment and situational awareness. #ThreatAssessmentThursdays – at Tempe, AZ

🇺🇸YANKEE DOODLE🇺🇸 🇺🇸THE INSULT THAT BECAME AN AMERICAN WAR CRY🇺🇸 Before it was a patriotic anthem, “Yankee Doodle” was British trash talk. During the mid-1700s, British Army officers mocked the colonial militia by calling them “Yankee Doodles”—unsophisticated country bumpkins who didn’t belong on a battlefield. The lyrics ridiculed American colonists for being poorly dressed and inexperienced. Even the famous line about “stuck a feather in his cap and called it macaroni” was meant as an insult. In 18th-century England, a “macaroni” was a wealthy man obsessed with flashy European fashion. The joke was that the colonists were so uncultured they thought a single feather made them fashionable. Then something incredible happened. Instead of being offended, the American Patriots embraced the song. They sang it after victories, marched to it, and turned the British insult into a symbol of defiance and pride. When the British surrendered at the Siege of Yorktown in 1781, American troops reportedly played “Yankee Doodle” as the defeated Redcoats laid down their arms. What was once meant to humiliate Americans became one of the greatest examples of turning ridicule into resolve. The lesson?
Never underestimate free people willing to fight for liberty. They’ll take your insults, wear them as a badge of honor, and then write history with them. 🇺🇸 From mockery… to victory.
That’s the American way.

🇺🇸Can you imagine feeling like you have to hate our country? Can you imagine Americans taking advantage of the American Dream while so many fight to achieve getting their citizenship to earn our freedom and liberty and our servicemen and women fight and die to preserve it? Are you like me and get choked up when you hear the National Anthem for those reasons and many more? Did you know there are actually 4 verses to our National Anthem? Here it is in its entire glory… 🇺🇸 Verse 1 O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light, What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming, Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight, O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there; O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave? Verse 2 On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep, Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes, What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses? Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam, In full glory reflected now shines in the stream: ‘Tis the star-spangled banner—O long may it wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave. Verse 3 And where is that band who so vauntingly swore That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion A home and a Country should leave us no more? Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps’ pollution. No refuge could save the hireling and slave From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave: And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave. Verse 4 O thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand Between their loved home and the war’s desolation! Blest with vict’ry and peace, may the Heav’n rescued land Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just, And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.” And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave. – at Tempe, AZ

As we approach our month of pride for 250 years of independence and sovereignty from kings in our republic, I am compelled to remind fellow Americans that we must be afforded our right to own firearms beyond what our adversaries and our government can use against us… That is our Second Amendment right that shall not be infringed by our adversaries or our government. We must be afforded the right to defend ourselves against an attacker and a tyrannical government, and a foreign/communist/socialist/terrorist enemy. I ponder what it would be like if we had weapons like my @PhnxWeaponry integrally suppressed AR-10 (my “Kelly”) to use against the redcoats back 250 years ago… What would their reaction be besides defeat or forever sleep? Here’s an opportunity to learn what that would’ve done to the English already impending defeat by our American Colonial Patriots, spoken in old English… – at Tempe, AZ

Considering a home defense weapon? Like any firearms discussion there is always going to be bias and personal preference down to the caliber and even the make/model of firearm and accessories… The discussion needs to address the undeniable facts on what one should use to defend themself in their home… No matter the choice you make, you have to always know the layout of your home, location of others inside and outside of your home, and above all else, your backstop or lack of backstop in running through scenarios in your mind before the 💩 hits the fan… Whether you choose a handgun with hollow point, long gun, or those hands 👊, you better train, prepare, plan, and be comfortable that you can stop a threat without causing harm to another… You still want a light and ability to aim/shoot accurately in the dark… You are responsible for every press of the trigger and every projectile that leaves your weapon until it stops… What’s your choice of home defense weapon and why?
