In April 2026 "Mr. Brightside" became the first song in history to reach exactly 500 weeks on the UK Singles Chart. Before that, in 2024, Mr. Brightside had already received the Guinness World Record for being the single by a band/group with the most accumulated weeks on the British chart. And the craziest thing: The track never reached #1.

The Long Way Home
This painting was inspired by an image from the early days of No Man's Sky, where giant arching rock formations stretched across alien coastlines - but became something else entirely.
Oil on canvas.

Through gentle blooms and skies above,
Hard work blossoms best with love,
Each little task you choose to do,
Paints a brighter world for you.

"Wuthering Heights" is the debut single by Kate Bush from The Kick Inside (1978). She wrote the song at the age of 18, after watching a BBC adaptation of Emily BrontΓ«'s novel.
Released in January 1978, it reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart for 4 weeks, making Kate the first British woman to have a #1 written entirely by herself.
Years later, in 1986, Kate re-recorded the vocals for The Whole Story because she thought the original was too young and immature.
