2DC have loved learning Yoga with Mrs Rawlings this half term. We have learned some breathing techniques, how to calm our body with gentle stretches and we had a lot of fun doing our partner balancing acts!

Autumn has officially arrived at Swans Afterschool Club. The children have been enjoying lots of fun, autumn-themed activities. They got creative making beautiful autumn crowns, pasta-painted necklaces, colourful wreaths and pumpkin paper chains. lovely Autumn Season at Swans!

2DC have been making booklets together about the UK. We have been learning all about the four different countries that make up the UK - England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. This week and next, we will be creating our booklets to show everything we have been learning.
During our writing topic on Greek Myths, Class 5TO were given a gift but told not to open it. We thought about ideas for and against opening the box and carried out a class debate. What would you choose to do?

It was lovely to see all the children back at Swans Breakfast and After school club after the summer holidays! We were also delighted to welcome some new children from early years nursery and reception. The children had lots of fun getting creative with our activities.
Year 6 maths were Taskmaster contestants & took on the White Rose Maths Paper Tower Challenge! 🗼
