Such sad news.
Was so lucky that this was the first person I worked for out of college. What I learned from him as a person and a professional have helped keep me going in this business for almost two decades.
Incredible man and mentor, RIP Tom.
It is with heavy hearts that the Charlotte 49ers community mourns the passing of former Charlotte Administrator Tom Whitestone.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family Kim, Sam, and Allie, and to the many student-athletes and colleagues whose lives were positively impacted by Tom 💚

I know there’s big things going on in the golf world this weekend, but how bout Wingate’s Amely Bochaton winning the D2 individual national title by THIRTEEN shots at PGA National with rounds of 68-67-68
Seems like something that @KylePorterNS would be interested in.
A couple of legends
To say the #WINgate lacrosse teams are in good hands would be an understatement. Excited to watch them go for a couple more titles this weekend

RIP Macie - The greatest dog there has ever been. A dog that could brighten up any day with her never-ending sweetness. Gonna miss coming home to that happy face every day.
Thank you Macie for 13 years of truly being man’s best friend. The best there ever was.
There’s no team that’s more dangerous than a @WingateBaseball team that loses game one of a tourney.
60 runs on 81 hits as the ‘Dogs won 6 straight for their 8th SAC Tourney title. I’ve seen this somewhere before.

27 trophies in one year is just absurd, but I assume somehow this coming year will be even better. ‘Dogs just keep raising the bar
Not enough room to thank all the people that have made this department what it is.

In alllllll my time at Wingate I’ve seen so many amazing performances at SAC, Regional & even National championships.
But, what @raecheladair did during that 3-day stretch for @WingateSoftball - as good as it gets.
Unreal effort, gave absolutely everything she had
