After 1975, Vietnam was destroyed. • Inflation hit 774% • Economy crumbled & people illiterate • US chemical bombs made farming deadly. Today, it's becoming the Silicon Valley of Asia & one of the fastest-growing nations worldwide. One decision changed everything🧵

going to try live-tweeting the GPT-5 livestream. first, GPT-5 in an integrated model, meaning no more model switcher and it decides when it needs to think harder or not. it is very smart, intuitive, and fast. it is available to everyone, including the free tier, w/reasoning!

I met a founder today who said he writes 10,000 lines of code a day now thanks to AI. This is probably the limit case. He's a hotshot programmer, he knows AI tools very well, and he's talking about a 12 hour day. But he's not naive. This is not 10,000 lines of bug-filled crap.

This week, ChatGPT is on track to reach 700M weekly active users — up from 500M at the end of March and 4× since last year. Every day, people and teams are learning, creating, and solving harder problems. Big week ahead. Grateful to the team for making ChatGPT more useful and delivering on our mission so everyone can benefit from AI.

CLASSIC SAM he just teased the first appearance of GPT-5 fom the output, it's obvious everything is ready -- the only thing left is the release now it's up to sam to decide when to launch or build more hype around it. and stop judging GPT-5 based on ordinary use-case

ZERO TO ONE: clean up your X followers using @PerplexityComet (bot filter edition) 1. open Comet → go to X (make sure you're logged into your X account) 2. prompt Comet: “extract all visible followers: username, display name, profile pic status, number of followers/following, number of posts, and profile link” 3. filter for sketchy accounts: “show only accounts with no profile pic, 0 tweets, or a 5:1 following/follower ratio” → Comet gives you a clean table with usernames, profile links, and reason flagged 4. export to Google Sheets “export this list to Google Sheets and name it ‘Potential Bot Followers’” → get a spreadsheet with all suspicious accounts for review 5. cleanup time Comet can open each profile in a new tab and guide you step-by-step to block/remove or just help you batch through them manually with prompts. you won’t be able to auto-block all in one click (thanks, platform restrictions), but Comet takes you from 0 to ~90% of the way with no scraping tools or janky scripts. 6. Automate Prompt "Do it every last day of the month."

Imagine how many weekly users GPT-5 will have once it drops. They’re already globally recognized. If they don’t rebrand soon, everyone’s just gonna keep calling it ChatGPT. Same way I still call this app Twitter.
