Just set up a Ko-fi page, if you would like to support my nonsense here you go :) ko-fi.com/hydraxous
One of the coolest part of PC gaming will now forever be plagued by vibe coded bullshit.
Awesome
Every game is moddable now!
I packaged everything Claude learned modding Terraria and Age of Empires into universal-modder: skills + tools that let Claude Code mod almost any game you own. Engine recon, decompiling, @fal sprites/3D/audio, testing in the real game, even the showcase video.

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The video compiles unrelated mods by other creators (e.g. Minecraft in Elden Ring by @TobynJacobs; real-time battles in Pokémon Emerald by @germanburgardt), not work from the advertised repo. Only the final Terraria/AoE clips match its examples.

Masahiro Sakurai says originality in video games doesn’t always lead to sales but an industry without originality will die a slow death.
“I am going to say something pretty harsh, but originality doesn’t really have much of an impact on sales. I actually think it ranks pretty low on the priority list. Everyone likely feels the same way, right? For example, with convenience store drinks, there probably aren't many people who go out and try every single new drink that comes out.
The more accustomed people become to something, the closer it gets towards being a standard, or rather, I think people tend to want a taste that matches their preferences and meets their expectations.
However, an industry that loses its originality will ultimately just die a slow death. I believe the industry exists today because of the people who pioneered new inventions and created new forms of enjoyment.
The Game Designers Award” will come to an end, but I hope you will continue to look out for novelty, originality, and the unique qualities that set a game apart. Thank you very much for everything.”

Hey!! Figured it's time to update the pinned post
I'm Solace and I'm working on Legion of Honor: a spiritual successor to the classic PS1-era Medal of Honor games.
The project's come a long way since the last pinned post, I'll be marking milestones by pinning them from now on!!

Tried adding some cracks below this ice, crazy what a difference it makes compared to the flat texture 🧊

I've been thinking about old school Call of Duty and something needs to be said about games that are unplayable via neglect. Old CoD games are riddled with cheaters and RCE exploitation and while you can technically play them online, its often an awful experience because of it.
