Media news: USA Today's product review team says management is running shoddy, AI-produced articles. The bosses insist the content isn't from AI, but there's no evidence many of the "writers" credited with the work actually exist. washingtonpost.com/style/medβ¦

I'm thinking though my proposal for next year's @IAFA_TW conference. The theme is "whimsy," and my quick search on humorous fantasy turned up no novels by BIPOC authors. I want to use this fact to have a conversation here and at ICFA about humor and BIPOC SFF.

Could use some help from my fantasy and Caribbean studies friends. I am looking for fantasy by Caribbean authors (or diaspora) set on islands or that reference mythological islands or dragons. So far I have Kacen Callender, Carlos Hernandez, and Daniel Jose Older. Thanks!
