ATA Carnet is now digital.
Today, four Contracting Parties to the ATA Convention and the Istanbul Conventions will begin using digital formats of the ATA Carnets — the European Union 🇪🇺, Norway 🇳🇴, Switzerland 🇨🇭, and the United Kingdom 🇬🇧.
The digitalization of the ATA Carnets streamlines the temporary admission process for more efficient risk management by Customs authorities.
More countries are expected to join the eATA Carnet system by 2028.

At the #COP30 Leaders Summit in Belém, @ICCSecGen joined heads of state and global leaders — including Ursula von der Leyen and Chancellor Merz — for a high-level roundtable on aligning climate ambition with economic opportunity.
His message was clear: make climate action work for the real economy.
That requires:
✅ Predictable carbon pricing and connected markets.
✅ Credible, interoperable standards for carbon accounting.
✅ Removal of tariffs on green goods and phase-out of fossil-fuel subsidies.
✅ Blended, de-risked finance to unlock investment — especially in emerging markets.
This must be a COP of economic delivery — where policy finally keeps pace with business innovation and makes low-carbon growth the default choice.
Business stands ready to work with governments and financial institutions to turn this vision into reality.
