Michael Sutton is building Argent — the AI-agent programming language for Kaspa Kaspa core developer Michael Sutton is shipping Argent: an actor-based language and compiler designed so both humans and AI agents can build complex on-chain applications on Kaspa’s L1 covenants. Argent lets you compose multiple contracts, link apps atomically, and expose clean interfaces — all compiling down to auditable SilverScript that runs natively on Kaspa’s BlockDAG. No separate VM. No trusted bridge. Just pure PoW consensus enforcing the rules. Sutton put it plainly: giving agents a clean language model is the difference between usage and no usage. Humans and AI both thrive with higher-order abstractions. Argent is that layer — so agents can post tasks, manage state, compose with other apps, and settle payments without wrestling raw opcodes or fragile off-chain glue. Why this matters for market share: • AI agents need fast, cheap, deterministic settlement. Kaspa already has 10 BPS and micro-fees. • They need enforceable rules and atomic multi-app composition. Toccata covenants + Argent deliver that on L1. • They need something they can actually read, generate, and verify. Argent’s actor model and open interfaces are built for that. While other chains still bolt agent tooling onto slow or custodial stacks, Kaspa is making the base layer agent-native. Argent is the missing piece that turns “programmable PoW” into “the place AI agents actually build and transact.” The rails are live. The language is being built for the machines. That’s how Kaspa takes share in the agent economy. #MichaelSutton #Argent #Kaspa #KAS #AIAgents #Toccata #Covenants #ProgrammablePoW #AgentEconomy #BuildOnKaspa #KaspaKing1 #iykKASyk

i’ll do everything in my power on the technical side to help this initiative move forward and navigate any protocol-level obstacles along the way. on a personal note, Alex has a rare mix of technical depth, bizdev talent and deep Kaspa knowledge. i honestly can’t think of anyone better suited to lead it, and i really appreciate him taking this on
Today we are introducing KaspaDollar, an initiative led by core developer @asaefstroem to build the first decentralized stablecoin on the $KAS network. The developments around @kccforum and the Toccata hardfork have considerably widened what Kaspa is capable of. Capability alone, however, does not make an ecosystem. Decentralized finance requires a unit of account that holds its value, and until Kaspa has a stablecoin of its own, every application built on it will remain dependent on assets issued elsewhere. The design we intend to follow is the decentralized, overcollateralized stablecoin: a pattern whose security properties have been examined and tested across the industry for the better part of a decade. With the support of the core team, we consider the conditions right to bring it to Kaspa. Realizing this requires development, an independent audit, further research, and the operational work of taking a protocol from specification to production. To fund it, we are opening a fundraiser with a target of 5,000,000 KAS. Contributions are made directly to the fundraising address published on the website. Should the target not be reached by 1 January 2027, every contribution will be returned to the address from which it was sent. Up until that point, this account will share the plans, details and progress of the work as it develops.

The next evolution of Kaspa will not only be about making money move faster. It will also be about making money intelligent. Consider a future where economic activity no longer requires humans to initiate every transaction, approve every agreement, or supervise every exchange. Millions of autonomous agents could negotiate contracts, purchase computational resources, provide services, and coordinate entire supply chains. But this creates a fundamental problem: how do machines transact with one another without trusting the machines themselves? This is where Kaspa's emerging architecture becomes particularly interesting. Toccata introduced native covenants, transaction introspection, and zero-knowledge verification. KIP-21 provides application-specific sequencing commitments, while vProgs is being developed to execute complex computation outside consensus and prove its correctness on Layer 1. Individually, these are technical improvements. Collectively, they suggest something considerably more profound: the possibility of a programmable economic environment where trust is increasingly transferred from institutions and software operators to cryptographically enforced rules. Imagine an AI agent controlling $10,000 in operational capital. Instead of trusting its programming to behave responsibly, a Kaspa covenant could enforce spending limits, restrict destinations, and require specific settlement conditions. Even if the agent malfunctioned or became compromised, its authority would remain bounded by consensus-enforced constraints. Now multiply that architecture across millions of agents. An economy begins emerging where participants don't necessarily need to trust one another, share infrastructure, or even operate under the same administrative authority. They simply need compatible settlement rules. And here's the deeper implication: as artificial intelligence reduces the cost of producing economic decisions, the demand for neutral, automated settlement infrastructure could increase dramatically. Kaspa's opportunity isn't simply becoming another platform for decentralized applications. It's becoming the economic coordination layer for autonomous intelligence. Bitcoin demonstrated that money could exist without centralized issuance. Kaspa will help demonstrate how increasingly autonomous economies can coordinate without centralized permission. The future of Kaspa will be less about humans using cryptocurrency and more about machines using economic freedom.

ZEAL Recovery Update The Kasplex KRC20 indexer is now operational again, and the custody balances now align across the independent indexers. This gives us enough clarity to publish the current ZEAL supply situation and the recovery measures we are moving forward with. The original KRC20 supply remains 240,000,000 ZEAL. Of that, 167,187,982.93 ZEAL is held by the bridge custody address and backs ZEAL on the L2s, while 72,812,017.07 ZEAL is held directly by users on KRC20 L1. On the L2s, Igra currently holds 216,275,848.19 ZEAL and Kasplex L2 holds 48,337,560.83 ZEAL, bringing the combined L2 supply to 264,613,409.01 ZEAL. Since only 167,187,982.93 ZEAL is backed by L1 custody, this leaves a 97,425,426.08 ZEAL supply gap created by the KRC20 indexer incident. As part of the recovery plan, the first decision we have made is to permanently burn the entire 24,000,000 ZEAL team allocation. We believe taking responsibility should start with us. Even though the incident did not originate from ZealousSwap, preserving a future team allocation while the community deals with the consequences of the incident is not the direction we want to take. The full allocation will be removed permanently, and there will be no future team unlock. Farm rewards and Infinity Pool emissions will also remain paused. On Igra, we will burn 43,794,947.23 ZEAL in Farm rewards that have not yet been distributed and 38,409,590.09 ZEAL in future Infinity Pool emissions. This brings the total Igra burn to 82,204,537.32 ZEAL. On Kasplex L2, in addition to the full team allocation, we will burn 7,200,000 ZEAL from the Insurance Fund, 4,586,310.61 ZEAL in undistributed Farm rewards and 681,650.32 ZEAL in future Infinity Pool emissions. The total Kasplex L2 burn will be 36,467,960.94 ZEAL. Altogether, 118,672,498.26 ZEAL will be permanently burned. This is 21,247,072.18 ZEAL more than the 97,425,426.08 ZEAL supply gap, meaning the gap is covered approximately 1.22x. Following the burns, the maximum ZEAL supply will fall from 240,000,000 to 218,752,927.82 ZEAL. We also want to be very clear about what these burns do and do not change. They do not reduce the ZEAL already circulating today. The tokens sold during the incident are now held by users who purchased them legitimately, and those trades remain valid. We will not rewrite what happened onchain or treat those holders differently. Circulating supply was approximately 118,087,936.62 ZEAL before the incident and is approximately 215,627,642.88 ZEAL today, an increase of roughly 97,539,706.26 ZEAL. The supply we are burning comes from protocol reserves that had not yet entered circulation. Before the incident, approximately 121.9 million ZEAL was still scheduled to enter the market over time through Farm emissions, Infinity Pool emissions, the team allocation and the Insurance Fund. After these burns, that future supply overhang is effectively removed. Approximately 98.6% of all ZEAL that will ever exist is already circulating. The remaining portion consists primarily of Farm rewards that users have already earned but have not yet claimed. This means there will be no future team unlock from the burned allocation, no future Insurance Fund allocation entering circulation, and no further Farm or Infinity Pool emissions from the reserves being removed. ZEAL’s future inflation from these allocations is effectively eliminated. Approximately 98.6% of all ZEAL that will ever exist is already circulating, with the remaining portion consisting primarily of rewards farmers have already earned but not yet claimed. There is no longer a large emission schedule or unlock overhang waiting to enter the market. We are still waiting for Igra to provide an update regarding the future of the funds recovered from the attacker, and we will update the community as soon as there is more clarity there. 👇

🚨 KASPA KCC-20: THE FOUNDATION FOR NATIVE ASSETS IS TAKING SHAPE! 🚀 Kaspa isn't just building tokens. It's building the common standard for an entire financial ecosystem. ✅ Native token issuance & transfers ✅ Covenant-enforced ownership & supply rules ✅ Shared standards for wallets, DEXs & applications ✅ Reference implementation merged ✅ KCC-20 officially enters LAST CALL! This is bigger than launching another token. It's about enabling developers to build financial applications, stablecoins, tokenized real-world assets, and more on a shared Layer 1 foundation. No hype required. Just open standards, working code, and real engineering. ⚡ One standard. Thousands of possibilities. One Kaspa. The infrastructure is taking shape. Real adoption comes next. $KAS #Kaspa #KCC20 #BlockDAG #RWA #DeFi
KCC-20 has officially moved to Last Call status. Developing software and developing standards are very different. Software aims to solve a specific problem. A standard aims to define a general foundation for a wide class of solutions. A special thanks to @michaelsuttonil , who was there from the start to finish , guided me in how to approach this complex craft.

For the next few days, I will accumulate a few strong OG Kaspa memes before they migrate to KCC20, and then also $FOMOON launching directly on KCC20, and $KCOM. What did I miss ? Any other promising memes launching directly on KCC20 ?

kaspa:native is one of the most undervalued assets on earth right now. As a Bitcoiner, I’m constantly questioned on why I talk about Kaspa so much. The answer is simple. Bitcoin is gold, Kaspa is silver. That analogy is baked into the core ethos of both of them. It goes beyond the monetary properties. Like gold, Bitcoin is basically a pure store of value play. Like silver, Kaspa has store of value properties and industrial uses. Silver: Electronics, Solar panels, EVs, Brazing/soldering, Batteries, Medical, Chemical catalysts, etc. Kaspa: Payment/Micropayments, Store of value, Tokens (KRC-20), NFTs, Settlement layer, Smart contracts (in development) The parallels are many, solidifying the pair as the modern equivalent of the historical bimetallic standard. Only they’re unburdened by pegged exchange rate. A free floating exchange ratio lets the market price each individually and prevents arbitrage. Kaspa has a real chance at breaking into the top 10. If you don’t believe that, tell me why. Let’s battle test my thesis. ⚔️
kaspa:native (+25%) has over tripled bitcoin:native performance (+7%) in the past 2 weeks. Same hard money thesis ✅ Add programmability ✅ Add scalability✅ < 1/1000th the MC of Bitcoin✅ Tighter emission schedule✅ I see $1+ as guaranteed at this point. 🚀

This tic-tac-toe demo is far more important than the game itself. It is a working example of what vProgs can turn Kaspa into: a sequencing and settlement layer for stateful applications without forcing every piece of application logic to execute directly on L1. Two players can lock KAS into a pot, play a multi-round match, and have the result determined by a verifiable program. The game logic executes through a RISC Zero guest, while Kaspa orders the application activity. The resulting state transitions are proven, aggregated, and ultimately checked by an L1 settlement covenant before funds can exit to the winner or be returned after a draw. That architecture is the real story. Tic-tac-toe can be replaced with an exchange, prediction market, multiplayer game, auction, payment network, AI-agent economy, or other application with shared state. Kaspa provides ordering, data availability, settlement and the security anchor, while computation happens outside the consensus-critical path and proofs establish that the rules were followed. This is how Kaspa can scale programmability without turning every node into a global computer. vProgs effectively let applications bring their own execution environment while inheriting verifiable settlement from Kaspa. Tic-tac-toe is just the smallest possible demonstration of a much larger application model.
