Yesterday, Endeavor Air Flight 4819 was involved in an accident as it was landing at Toronto Airport. While there were injuries, all the passengers & crew are alive & accounted for –– and I'm grateful for that. ALPA is supporting the crewmembers & the investigation as it begins.

Pilots have long embraced technology that makes flying safer by improving their ability to manage and troubleshoot emergency situations and irregular events as a team. Relying on technology, no matter how advanced, to fully assume the role of one or both pilots is a step too far.

La semana pasada, llevamos a cabo una acción para concientizar a los pasajeros sobre la difícil realidad que enfrentamos en este ámbito. La situación es alarmante y es fundamental que se ajuste nuestra retribución salarial, en función de la alta responsabilidad que asumimos en nuestras funciones. Como trabajadores, exigimos una respuesta inmediata, alineada a la realidad inflacionaria del país.
