No Postville or Sumner-Fredericksburg in yesterday’s updated classifications released by the the union. Will these teams still be fielding JVs?
Postville is missing from the tentative classifications. Are they not having a varsity again for the second straight season, despite having a JV team last year and 8th graders now being eligible?
When a post criticizing the Ranking/Regional process has nearly 30k views, it’s time for something to change.
Could they look these athletes drawing the short end of the stick in the eye and say, “Sorry, we just couldn’t get the rubber bands to stretch far enough this year.”
Ran an Instagram poll where 75% of participants voted that they do NOT like the rubber band method for determining regionals.
Bringing back a quote from the Regional Opinion piece which had >29k views: “What’s easy for the Union is NOT best for the players and coaches.”

Sounds like the Wartburg team camp starting today is packed with great teams from all classes! Exciting to hear about so many teams working to get even better as the summer comes to a close!

We are all set up for our team camp! The next 3 days will have at least 17 teams that are projected to be ranked next season. Always a great team camp in the beautiful lakes area of northwest Iowa.
