Impact case study from @The_IGC @IGC_Pakistan presented to UK Parliament today
at the direct request of the Prime Minister and Finance Minister, IGC evaluated a series of proposals with fiscal implications totalling approximately 2% of GDP. This analysis is now serving as the official basis for ongoing thinking on reforms. Over the course of one month, IGC logged nearly ten hours of direct consultations with the Finance Minister, senior cabinet colleagues and the Prime Minister. The depth and pace of this work—rapid-turnaround policy evaluation at the frontier of fiscal research, embedded within live budget negotiations—represents significant impact. It has opened a longer-term opportunity to institutionalise this analytical capability inside government
