I’ll say it again Bam isn’t going anywhere so really the ones hating on could go watch another team with a big that does what they want. The franchise isn’t going to shop Bam due to this slump.

I think Bam didn’t handle this well for the simple reason that the people he’s referring to are trolls. Best to ignore. People who call him names and flood his foundation page with insults. Actual Heat fans and critics just want him to be more aggressive and productive.

I don’t get that logic. He’s been terrible to start the season, but he’s got 7 years of 20-10 under his belt. If he gives them that this season this team will win a lot of games. But he’s can’t be this 12-7 guy he’s started the season as.

I think people are taking this incorrectly as Dwyane directly comparing Giannis and Bam to him and LeBron as players. This isn’t about star level, it’s about status as long time team leader/franchise player. Communication between Giannis/Bam has to be on same page for success.
Dwyane Wade’s advice to Bam Adebayo and Giannis in order to win, is having a real conversation about who’s team it is and their roles:
“Bam is a player who established himself as a franchise player, an All Star, 83 points last year. Now you’re getting a top 20 established player in the league coming to your team. — What I look at is really defining who’s team it is and role of that. You want Giannis coming down right away and feeling comfortable and confident that he can be Giannis 100%.
I want to see Giannis come down and say ‘hey bam, I got this. This is my show, imma make sure we all eat tho.’ I think this is the year Bam turns his attention to being an overall player in our league more so ‘we need Bam to score 83.’ Are they going to look at each other and say ‘hey, it’s my team, respectfully, but I’ll make sure everybody else gets involved’
