#Whalefall had me on the edge of my seat. What a WILD ride! The sounds & visuals had my stomach churning (in a good way). Austin Abrams & Josh Brolin are amazing together! Didnt expect to get emotional. A beautiful exploration of grief. Let Austin do a RomCom next - the poor guy!

August 29, Judgment Day.
It’s remarkable to be celebrating 35 years of TERMINATOR 2 and to look back at just how much innovation went into making this film.
Jim Cameron was asking everyone to go beyond what had been done before. ILM was pioneering visual effects technology to make the impossible possible. Stan Winston and his team were creating extraordinary practical effects. The stunt teams and crew were doing incredible work every single day.
I was lucky enough to step into the middle of all of that as the T-1000.
It changed my life.
35 years later, T2 is back in theaters and people around the world are still embracing this film.
What an incredible legacy to be a part of.
Happy Judgment Day.

My hand-painted cutaway of the Haulcraft from @andorofficial , created for DK's Star Wars: Dawn of Rebellion.
Set up from the digital model by @ILMVFX, hand drawn, inked and painted in watercolour. Love this ship - a privilege to create its official cutaway artwork.

'The End of Oak Street' does a lot of things right, but the best thing it does is make dinosaurs as scary as they've always been.

We rehearsed this shot on a studio lot weeks before shooting it in the neighborhood. Went measured everything at location and mapped it out in a parking lot to figure out our lensing, and distances for everything.

Folks,
MARS ATTACKS! on 4K UHD Blu-ray is out of this world!! It looks fantastic and sounds amazing. There’s Dolby Atmos and the original theatrical 5.1 lossless surround sound mixes. Visually, the movie’s great [1996 era] VFX are finally able to be seen in their full glory on home video. Not since its run in theaters has this movie looked this good, and HDR just adds so much more at home.
Now available from the good folks at @WBHomeEnt.
Highly recommended!
4K screenshots with Blu-ray comparisons later!

Christopher Nolan says the opening text of ‘THE ODYSSEY’ was inspired by ‘STAR WARS’.
“George began that film with a title that said, ‘A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…’ That immediately told me how to watch the film. It put me in the right frame of mind to receive the imagery.”

Witnessing the Astrophage reveal in PROJECT HAIL MARY was one of those rare theater moments where you could feel the entire audience lean in at once. Pure sci-fi wonder on the biggest screen possible.
