@IMreasoning So please you’re back! Love the podcast. Listening always reminds me of Auckland, NZ, and of many happy times there (used to work at North Shore). A very interesting and thoughtful episode; looking forward to more!

Must listen: @IMreasoning episode 69: STC clinical unknown presented by the one and only, @ABRezMed. I think it is ferr(itin) to say that you are in for a diagnostic dilemma.

I learnt it after watching Art and Nick from @IMreasoning doing a morning report at a GP supervisor conference. This led to listening to their podcasts, finding them on Twitter and then finding the likes of you who are involved in #MedEd which led to more podcasts on #CR

Huge fan of @IMreasoning podcasts ever since a friend introduced it to me last year. Full of clinically relevant pearls, like the concept of V.O.M.I.T. = victim of medical information technology. Looking forward to more episodes in #2021. #MedEd #MedTech

Can #checklists help to reduce #dxerror? Justine Staal and I were surprised to find that they are not very effective. More work to be done. Read about it in our @AHRQNews brief ahrq.gov/patient-safety/repo… @ImproveDX @ErasmusMC

Absolutely love this show! Just wanted to point out: Almost no labs in a AUS/NZ use a lupus sensitive reagent anymore. A normal aPTT does not exclude a lupus. And a prolonged APTT is more likely to be due to a factor deficiency or heparin

Medicine is expansive & daunting. So is memorizing the yellow pages. ❤️ this @IMreasoning episode on memory w/ memory athlete @DanielKilov. Also has an amazing visual mnemonic for recalling Renal Tubular Acidosis that I will have to borrow! imreasoning.com/episodes/epi… #MedTwitter

'There are few diagnoses more rare in the medical species than intellectual humility. There are few allergies more common than that of doctors to uncertainty.' @danielleofri beautifully and poignantly written. Loving her new book 'when we do harm" #dxerror #Uncertainty

If you don’t listen to @IMreasoning it’s a must listen. Thanks for introducing this to me @Gurpreet2015. This episode on memory is great. Now I wish all those sketchy series were out when I was in school podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

Yup @IMreasoning is the OG clinical reasoning podcast. Introduced me to the concept of cognitive autopsy and how biases lead to diagnostic errors. And there are 3 fantastic episodes featuring Dr. Dhaliwal as a bonus.
