Leios is coming to Cardano with the Dijkstra hard fork.
The goal? More room for transactions as network demand grows.
The rollout will happen in stages, starting at 3-5x today's throughput and aiming for 10-15x as mainnet results allow.

In this week’s report: the ledger team kept preparing for Leios and brought Plutus V4 into Dijkstra. The formal methods team worked on specifying Leios rules in Agda, and the API and CLI team shipped cardano-cli 11.3.1.0 with sub-transaction support.

A large reserve doesn’t guarantee a secure network. New research shows why.
Manvir Schneider (CF) and Paolo Penna (@IOGroup) built a framework to determine how much reserve a PoS network needs to stay secure as token price and demand shift, presented at AFT 2026 last week.
The Musashi Dojo enters its Fire phase.
We're raising the load on the Leios testnet step by step, testing the protocol and hardening the code to production grade at each level.
