One of the Holy Grails.
8480 Space Shuttle from 1996 was a LEGO Technic set you'll never forget. It featured lit fibre-optic cables for effect, plus motorized functions to give this hulking set some much needed movement.

Straight out of the oven: banana chocolate bread/cake ππ«π€€ if you could only smell it now! Can't wait to dig in!

And all but me and one other person in the picture are new to #volunteering with our #CleanChampions.
Just 45 minutes makes a difference. Immediately, visibly, meaningfully.
And 2,000 steps as well!

It was my final event for Green Libraries Week this morning. First time doing this project, very small scale. It went better than I thought. Much to think about for next year.
Two new events next weekend. It's a nice way to earn a living but I'd love a week off.

So comforting, and a beautiful photo.

Pepita and black bean tacos with fresh salsa. Hearty, flavorful, and completely plant-based. #Vegan #PlantBased #VeganFood #VeganRecipes
I picked up a little Ice Planet set at a Brick Festival last year. I never collected these as a child and I think they're pretty cool.

(I'll get my coat.)
6898 Ice-Sat V from 1993 was Ice Planet 2002's largest rover - perfect for unloading rockets at Commander Cold's HQ (6983 Ice Station Odyssey). That enough wheels for ya? A great 90s LEGO set.

It's my annual diabetic bollocking this morning. I tried to discharge myself from this as it's a yearly "you need to do THIS" fest for an hour. A new HCP has persuaded me to go along this morning but I'm not convinced.
IT's an odd thing, posting one's thoughts onto the internet when I don't know anyone here personally. I know that's the man way SM has changed since 2007; it's gone from being people you know to not even real people sometimes.
The timeline is full of these "doing x in Spain" followed by "doing x in Narnia" qnd rhen a colon first the next post. There's quite enough crap without this balls.
There's a huge amount of work and detail in this build, but this version of #Nottingham is truly fantastical.

Into the second week of this and it's the first time since April 2024 since I've worn shoes on both feet.
I missed so much as a child
Using your imagination, 6580 Land Jet 7 can speed off at hundreds of miles per hour... even on carpet! There's a small 'aeroplane wheel' under its nose to help it roll along. A neat Extreme Team oddity.

I really I thINk I may just about live long enough to see an Agriculture Transition Act that will transform our food economy to as fully a #plantbased one as possible; preferably from within the #EU.
