City of Edinburgh Trading Standards officials seized 58,000 counterfeit football shirts & kit, all intended to be sold illegally during the World Cup.
The kits weighed in at 9 tonnes and had an estimated retail value in excess of £5.5 million 🚨

Our officers remain committed to putting fraudsters behind bars. On Wednesday 29th April at Manchester Airport our officers arrested a 55-year-old man and a 46-year-old man on suspicion of distributing articles infringing copyright and money laundering.
