I asked the Science Minister @CommonsSITC how he would address the financial mismanagement at @STFC_matters resulting in consistent overspends and cuts.
He denied it was mismanagement but confirmed the ambition should be that predicted expenditure meets actual expenditure.

We are very happy to host another edition of the UK Annual Theory Meeting here in Durham. With over 150 participants, we have clearly bounced back from the complications due to COVID over the last years.
After a brief coffee break, we now transition into the final session of this year's meeting. Andrea Banfi is reporting from the Particle Physics Advisory Panel and we will have some discussions now and in the subsequent STFC townhall meeting.
