How are face masks used during PD exchanges? In a cross-sectional online survey of 733 PD professionals from 71 countries, 72.3% reported patients always wear masks during bag exchanges or cycler connection.

🌍 The ISN and @ISPD1, @IPNA_PedNeph, @com_SFNDT, and @Apsn_eph were delighted to bring the Saving Young Lives global initiative to #ISPD26 in Cape Town, welcoming over 65 participants from 20 countries.
The session provided an important opportunity to share knowledge and strengthen skills to improve the prevention, recognition, and treatment of AKI, particularly in low-resource settings.
A big thank you to all the SYL partners, faculty, and participants who made this session possible. Through global collaboration, we can continue building capacity and expanding access to life-saving kidney care.

The first plenary of today started with the presentation of the Jonas Bergström Award for the best abstract submitted to #ISPD26 for Dr Kamol Khositrangsikun, Thailand.
