Great to meet with @EU_UNGeneva ambassadors, just weeks ahead of #Plenipot - one of the most decisive conferences on digital. Europe’s leadership & active engagement will be important as Member States shape what comes next at ITU: from AI to space-based connectivity & beyond.
Women & girls in rural areas often face inequalities in access to education, healthcare & economic opportunities.
Meaningful connectivity can help break down these barriers, expanding the limits of what rural women can achieve. #Partner2Connect #RuralWomensDay
ALT Amidst the snow-capped summits of Algeria, an Algérie Télécom technician works with precision on an FTTH fiber optic cabinet, ensuring network continuity despite extreme weather conditions. This image embodies the determination of women to bridge the digital divide, proving that neither gender stereotypes nor the rigors of winter are barriers to universal connectivity.
Standards offer a universal language for digital cooperation.
As tech & AI reshape our societies and economies at an unprecedented speed, standards help build the trust, transparency and interoperability needed to move forward together.

A small price tag doesn't always mean a small environmental footprint.
As holiday shopping approaches, think twice before buying fast tech. From ring lights to kitchen timers & power banks: let's choose products that last, can be repaired or recycled responsibly. #eWasteDay
From cybersecurity to digital inclusion & AI, our commitments have to become results people can actually see. That’s the focus of @RealSmartAfrica —& we’re pleased to partner in turning continental ambition into implementation. Great to co-chair last week's #Steerco21

The final inter-regional preparatory meeting was an opportunity to build bridges towards #Plenipot-26 where success will be measured not by consensus alone, but by the clarity of the direction we set, the ambition of our decisions & our ability to turn them into meaningful action
Every girl deserves the chance to discover her passions, the support to pursue them & the freedom to choose her own path.
On #DayoftheGirl, we celebrate girls everywhere & champion their right to learn, explore, dream & shape their own futures.
We stand in solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following the tragic attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
My thoughts are with all those affected.
